As the gray skies enveloped and devoured the bright moon
I thought of her one last time before I'll be gone soon
I wanted to know how she has been all of these years
Has she been in bliss or buried in the hands of tears
I love her not because of her eyes
That mirrored the sunny day blue skies
Eyes that look at me and make me still
Eyes that I dream of and always will
I love her not because of her smile
Smiles that I imagine from a mile
Her sweet laughter, her voice all of these
All of these I wanted to hear, Please!
I did not come to love her for what she has
Everything will eventually come to pass
I love her dear, only because of love's sake
This roughly, lonely journey, I will soon take.
They say death is an awfully big adventure!
All those horrid dark place I wish not to venture
So before I lay in the hands of a sad death
I shall carve on my future grave; OLIVER SETH
Died so young, waiting for his bride, his beloved lady
Died on this day, fourteenth of July of 1840
So before I die, I fervently pray
That all of my unsaid love will find its way
To my beloved lady before she'll fade away
