Third Person - no one's p.o.v

The corridors were buzzing with activity and noise as the students rushed to the main hall. Earlier that morning the student of Auradon Prep had been asked to meet up in the main hall to discuss a very special treat to celebrate the end of term before they are set free to do as they wish for a few weeks.

Fairy Godmother greeted the whole of Auradon Prep with a warm smile along with Queen Belle and King Adam as they entered and stood in rows awaiting the new announcement.

"Welcome, students!" Fairy Godmother projected her voice as the hundreds of voices started to die down. "Now, I understand that it's not very often that we all meet like this but I have some very exciting news to deliver to you on behalf of our Queen and our King." King Adam and Queen Belle slightly bowed their heads down before making their way out of the room.

"They have asked me to enlighten you in telling you about a very special trip that they have organised just for you, where you will be able to make new friends and discover a lot more about our wonderful, magical world than you thought possible. We will expect you to be on your best behaviour -as I have no doubt you will- and we will all be returning after two weeks, ready for one more week of schoolwork and then your half-term break. The location of our treat will be revealed in two days time, which will be the night before we set off. If you have any questions regarding the trip or your school work then you shall have the opportunity over the weekend! Now, enjoy the rest of your Friday and we shall all see each other again on Sunday. Please leave in an orderly fashion to your lunch break!" She finished, leaving everyone with plenty of questions, most of which being 'where are we going?', but it was pretty obvious that they weren't going to get an answer to that one until Sunday.

First Person- Mal's p.o.v

It was quite interesting to see how everyone reacted to the news of this 'special trip' to wherever the hell we were going, especially since most people stayed put after Fairy Godmother had finished. Whilst crowds of people discussed, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Doug, Jane, Ben and I decided to make our way down to the bleachers for a bit of space. Once we got down there I noticed a few looks being passed between Ben and Jane, which quickly got annoying.

"Won't you just quit staring and talk to each other? Do any of you know what it is your parents have got planned?" I asked, taking a seat on the second row.

"Well, do you know anything?" Ben questioned Jane, who sighed and shook her head.

"My mom wouldn't tell me a thing, how about you? You are the son of the King and Queen.." Jane answered before also taking a seat, but on the row in front of me. I honestly didn't see what the big deal was considering that there weren't very many places left to see in Auradon, and all of those places had already been visited by the rest of the students that aren't the four of us Villains' Kids, so it shouldn't be too interesting for everyone else.

"M?" Evie's voice sounded, grabbing my attention from my apparent daydream. "What's going through your head?" She asked as she moved closer, followed by Jay.

"Just thinking about how much fun this whole experience is going to be!" I said, trying to sound as genuine as possible. It wasn't that I didn't think it was going to be fun, I just had a hard time being excited about visiting more of Auradon considering I had already seen what people are like there and at the isle, so I couldn't really expect much more to be new. "Hey, what's going on with Carlos?" I asked, watching my friend trace the stitches on his leather gloves (courtesy of Evie's design skills).

"Yeah, he's been like this a lot lately. He likes to sit silently in our dorm with his thoughts, it gets super boring, but he's usually fine after a couple minutes. Trust me, just give him time to shake it off." Jay replied, looking slightly concerned towards the smaller boy, but I knew it wasn't my place to question any further. Besides, he's our best friend, he'll open up if he needs to!

Hey, I know this may not be the most exciting opening to a fan fiction, but I'm saving the good parts for just a little bit.

Thank you for reading my fan fiction, it means a lot to me because I've been wanting to do something like this for sooo long. Can't wait to carry this on for you Descendants fans, hopefully I don't disappoint you!
