Percy was pretty sure the world was spinning when he woke up. Or that nature hated him. Most likely the second option. He was shivering even though he had about 5 blankets but he was sweating. He felt nausea overcome him as he sat up but refused to lay back down; he had to teach a swordfighting class with the Hermes and Demeter kids. He let go of his blankets and immediatly shivered from his lack of odd warmth.

'Maybe a shower would help' he thought as he slowly walked towards the bathroom. After a hot shower, he still felt as if he was on The Frisbee at Adventureland. Maybe even worse. (A/N ive never been on it but it rocks and spins back and forth) He got dressed in a camp t-shirt, a black sweatshirt and jeans with sneakers when he heard a knock at his cabin door. He mentally groaned.

'I do NOT want to deal with people right now.' he thought. But, he opened the door anyways to reveal his (healthy looking) girlfriend, Annabeth. She was looking down at a clipboard, most likely filled with architecturey stuff she was writing.

"Hey Seaweed Brain. You weren't at breakfast and I wanted to make sure you were- you look horrible! What happened?" She exclaimed while looking up. He groaned and covered his ears as his non-existant headache decided to make an appearance now.

"Nothing....I just have a really bad headache right now." He said. It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the whole truth either. Annabeth looked at him skeptically and knew he wasn't telling the truth. Nobody was that sickly pale from just a headache. His voice was also scratchy and sounded strained. She said nothing and only grabbed his arm and yanked him inside.

The movement made Percy nauseaous and next thing he knew he was running to the bathroom and over the toilet. He was on his knees throwing up his dinner. He faintly felt Annabeth rubbing his back as he gagged and made horrible retching sounds. After a while he stopped and leaned his forehead against the cool bowl of the toilet.

"Nothing? You sure it's nothing?" Annabeth asked mockingly. He opened his eyes a bit.

"Shut up." He said croakily. Her eyes softened a bit and moved his hair out of his eyes.

"Do you wanna move to your bed? Or...do you think you can?" She asked while still rubbing his back. He hesitated but slowly nodded. She smiled a bit and wrapped an arm under his arms to pull him up. He was almost to his feet when he said, "STOP!" She immediatly put him down as he started to dry heave. There was nothing left for him to throw up and it hurt like Hades for him.

"Percy, don't cry. You're ok." Annabeth said soothingly. She rubbed small circles on his back and finally he stopped.

"Perce...I'll be right back ok?" He only nodded and started shivering from the loss of her warmth by him. She came back a few minutes later with a glass of water.

"Here. This will keep you hydrated because of all your vomiting." He took the glass and nodded his head as a thank you and took small sips. There was a knock on the door and Annabeth got up to get it. She opened the door to find Chiron standing there looking worried.

"Annabeth, my dear, do you know where Percy is? He was supposed to start a class about 10 minutes ago." He asked. She realized he was worried because he thought Percy might've been kidnapped by a certain goddess......again.

She gave her mentor/father figure a small smile and said, "Don't worry Chiron, he wasn't kidnapped. He's just caught some sort of stomach bug and is currently in the bathroom." She said while pointing inside the cabin. He relaxed and his worried expression was replaced with a simpathetic one.

"Should I get Will or somebody from the Apollo cabin to take a look at him?" He suggested. Annabeth mentally face palmed. 'Why hadn't I thought of that?' she thought. She nodded nonetheless.

"Yeah that would be good. Thank you Chiron."

"No problem, Annabeth. Tell Percy I said to get well soon." And with that he walked back to the infirmary to get Will. Annabeth sighed and went back into the cabin. She was hoping he wasn't fatally sick. Can demigods get fatally sick like cancer or pneumonia? Who knows....

She walked into the bathroom to find Percy breathing heavily while trying to prevent the inevitable. His breathing was becoming deeper and more ragged and she bent down to him and rubbed his back and moved his hair out of his face. She noticed he was burning up but he was shivering.

'Must be a fever of some sort.' She thought. He put his fist to his mouth as he still breathed rapidly.

"Percy, don't try to delay it. It'll make you feel better, ok?" She soothed.

She continued to rub his back as he gagged and dry heaved. Nothing came up but just continued to gag. She wiped his tears away. The glass of water was empty, which was good that he drank it. He looked at her and saw how sad and in pain he was.

"Hurts." He croaked.

"Percy...Chiron's getting Will ok? We have to move you to the bed. Ok?" She told him."

"Ok." He said quietly. He was surprised at how quiet he sounded but tried to pick himself up and help Annabeth out. She slipped her arms under his arms and lifted him up gently. She moved her right arm to his waist as he put his left arm around her shoulders. They slowly walked to the bed due to Percy having to stop and take deep breaths. He eventually made it and laid under his bundle of 5 blankets.

"Annabeth?" He asked quietly from his bundle.

"Yeah, Seaweed Brain?" She responded. He smiled a bit at the nickname.

"Can you get me a glass if water....and a garbage can? Please?" He asked. She nodded and walked away to get said items. He sat up, still wrapped in blankets and took the cup from her as she set down the garbage can. There was a knock at the door and Will came in with his doctory stuff. (A/N i just realized how incredibly long this chapter is....holy hades)

"Hey Perce. I heard from Chiron you were sick....and I see he wasn't lying." He said as he looked me over.

Percy managed a weak laugh. "Yeah, thanks Will." He whispered. "Come and do your doctory stuff on me. Just don't make me vomit." he said. Will smiled did his so called 'doctory stuff.' After about 10 minutes he stopped examining Percy and asking questions and said,

"Well, you're not dying and don't have anything serious like appendicitis. It is actually," he pulled out a bottle filled with blue pills, "a really bad case of the stomach flu. So take one of these every 8 hours starting now and in two days you'll be back to your old self." Will instructed. He packed up his stuff as Percy said 'thank you' to him as he walked out of the cabin.

He laid down and took a pill. He was half asleep in a matter of seconds when he felt the bed dip down and hand stroke his hair. It felt relaxing to him and soon he was dozing off.

"Wise Girl?" He mumbled.

"Yeah Seaweed Brain?"

"Thanks." He said. He didn't need to elaborate as she knew he was thanking her for taking care of him and just being there for comfort.

"No problem, Perce. Now sleep" She said and he was out like a light.
