Chapter 8

Xavier POV

After school I was leaning against the hood of my car talking to my homie Tré. Me and Tré been down since fourth grade this my nigga for life. While waiting for Summer to come on before her hood fabulous ass be waiting at the bus stop.

"Aye my nigga there go homegirl. When you gone get with that?" Tré asked while nodding toward Summer walking outta the school.

"My nigga never... And the same goes for you ol' scooby dog ass nigga. " I told Tré. That's my nigga but he ain't nothing but a dog. My best friend is un-fuck-with-able.

"Man... Whatever she look like she need a real nigga in her life." Tré said eyeing Summer as she approached my car where we were standing. He was low key getting me tight the way he was eyeing her. Could have swore I seen slob coming outta the man mouth.

"your right my nigga." I told Tré and dapped him up then walked over to the driver door.  "I am the real nigga." I smirked then sat in the driver seat and cranked up the engine.

Summer pov✨

Finally this day is over I was convinced that I was going to break at least 3 of Ten Commandments. Not today Satan.

I was putting my books in my locker when Lexi came up to my locker. It felt like I haven't talked to her in forevaaa (Cardi B voice).

"Hey baby" Lexi hugged me when I put all my books away.

"Hey Lexi bae I haven't seen you all day." I returned the hug.

"I know but guess what ya girl gotta dude!" Lexi squealed.

" I see you boo, Zay waiting on me so I'll call you later so you can put me on. See you later. I hugged Lexi then rushed out the back exit to the school parking lot.

I looked around the lot and spotted Xavier and one of his friends leaning on the hood of his car. As I began to approach the car Xavier got in and his friend walked up to me.

"Hey baby girl, how was your day?" He hugged me trying to make conversation.  He must have wanted Xavier to leave me. On top of that I didn't even know his name.. but he was looking edible.

"My day was long but I'll see you around Zay's waiting for me. I told him and got in to the passenger seat.

I turned and stared at Xavier while he drove out of the school parking lot.

"Well hello my day was very long and stressful. How about you ? I asked since his mouth don't work.

He looked at me then pulled into Wendy's drive thru .

"Hello welcome to Wendy's how may I help you today? A worked asked through the speaker.

"Can I get 2  baconator four for four's with bbq sauce and 2 sprites. " Xavier ordered.

"Ok pull up to the first window your total is 9.35 " The worker spoke.

"What's your issue?" I asked Zay

"9.35 " The worker spoke smirking at Zay. He handed her a twenty dollar bill.

Then she handed him his change and Reciept . When he put the reciept
in the cup holder I looked like pen writing on it.

I picked it up and sure enough there was that stiff weaved girl number on it. What a shame. I shook my head.

He slightly tossed our food in my lap and put our sprites in the cup holder.

"Listen don't go around Tré , don't talk to him , don't look his direction , don't breath in that nigga direction. Understood? He said look at me with the most straightest face ever.

I'm so petty and childish I just sat back and ate his fries while laughing.  Do dude really think I'm taking orders from him? Man who child is this? Anybody?

"I don't think I made myself clear STAY  away from that nigga Tré." He said looking at me like I lost my mind.

"Oh you made yourself crystal clear... now you wanna talk to me huh? I said chuckling ready to punch this human glow stick. Why light skins always in they feelings?

"You think everything thing a joke. Please don't play with me." Xavier spoke.

" you about to get cussed out like ya little girlfriend did earlier. Talking to me like you don't got common sense." I said more to myself.

He pulled into my driveway  and turned the car off. And turned and just stared at me collecting his thoughts.

"Summer what girlfriend? Huh ? I swea' they dropped you on your head as a baby." Xavier said looking at me like I was dumb.

"That Bronx girl from the kickback. You know who I'm talking 'bout. I told him then grabbing my bag out the back and grabbed my Wendy's and got out the car before I put these paws on him.

I unlocked the front door , kicked my shoes off and went to my room and plopped on my bed and began to eat my Wendy's.

    I pulled out my phone got on wattpad and read my favorite book of all time 'use me' by 19dummie. I'm so obsessed with this book. While 'luv' by Tory lanez played in the back.

While eating and reading Xavier comes in and played at his favorite spot at the foot of my bed.

"Summer why did you cuss out Brooklyn for ?" He said interrupting my peace of mind.

I just turned up the music so that Tory beautiful voice would block out  the fuckery.

Xavier snatched my phone and locked it so I would have no choice but to answer him but he must have forgot who he's dealing with.

So I stretched out on the bed stared at the ceiling while stuffing fries in my mouth while vibing to the music. P.E to the T.T.Y yeah I'm petty.

"Summer didn't I just tell you in the car to stop playing with me?" Xavier asked once her realized that I wasn't answering him no time soon.

I sat and tilted my head to the side trying to decide if I should give him the same treatment Harlem got or just talk to this dummy.

"I was in the gym locker room and she came up talking 'bout some stay away from her 'baby daddy' just talking straight retarded." I told Zay while but emphasis on baby daddy and using air quotes.

He squinted his eyes at me to see if I was lieing.

"I'm just trying to get the box I'm not that interested in her to cuff her." Xavier said like it was nothing.

He need to leave her alone before I slap that dumb broad.

"Bet" I responded and snatched my phone from the side of him and continued to read my book. I even made my self comfortable by putting my feet in his lap.

Xavier was saying something but I blocked him out.

"Can you put this in the garbage? Thanks besto I handed him my Wendy's bag and continued to ignore him and read.
