YOUR POV

"Okay Max! We have plenty of bridges to burn until you are a true criminal against your will!" I cheer, with a puzzled Max behind me.

"I fail to see how being out in the open will help me. At all." I snicker at his comment.

"That's just it!" I tell him, giggling in between sentences.

"It will help you! You just have to steal something, and make your mark! While pickpocketing other small items without being caught." I say, shrugging my shoulders.

"You say that as if it were that simple." Max complains.

"It is, once you get used to it."

[3RD POV]

Max sighed, pinching me bridge of his nose in annoyance. There was no fighting her, was there? He probably would not win many of their future arguments. Y/N was smart, wise, and many things good, but quite stubborn at times too.

And beautiful, he thought. Max shook the thought out of his head.

Unwanted and unnecessary, he thought, partially annoyed. Another part was confused. Max silently grunted, angry that his mind would not clear itself. He could not think of such things, especially at a time like this. Y/N was his good friend and current tutor on, as she put it, 'becoming a thief against your will'.

He was a bit shaken up about this idea, as he was the king of the land, and being hunted down by angry murderers, but what happened was hopefully for the best.

"You okay, Blue Jay? You seem a bit distracted." Y/N points out, using his code name to address him.

Max nods, waving the excess thoughts out of his brain.

"I'm fine. Now what were you saying?" He asks politely.

"Just gotta pickpocket some small things unnoticed, while stealing something really important, noticeably. Got it?" Y/N asks, a devious grin on her face.

"I, think?" Was his only reply. Max wasn't exactly ready for this, but he did what he was told. She hands him a light blue masquerade mask with a white and black stripe going vertically at both sides. And so, he put it on.

Sneaking around, Max picked up gold nuggets from the ground that some people had dropped. There were a surprisingly large amount actually. Now, about that important thing . . . He suddenly spotted Lord Jessica Aphmau chatting happily with a couple citizens.

Her diamond sword! He could steal that!

"My apologies, old friend." Max mumbles under his breath as he ran over to her. He skidded across the ground tripping her, and snatching the sword from its sheath last second. A bystander looked at the blue jay that Y/N had released, and back at Max.

   "Blue Jay!" They shout.

"The Blue Jay has made his mark!" Y/N yells in the crowd, disappearing in the (actually quite surprised) mob. Max kept in his laugh, afraid the people of Minecraftia would recognize his voice. He successfully blended himself in with them, sneaking into a back alleyway nearby. Y/N dropped in the end, where it was just a wall with a dumpster.

"You done good buddy." She says, patting his shoulder. Max fixed his dark blue cloak.

"Not literally right? Stealing might be against the law . . ." He jokes, causing her to laugh.

"Yeah. However you wanna put it." Y/N shakes her head playfully.

   "We good?" Max asks, hopeful.

   "We're done here. For now."

"There's a new thief in town."

"So I've heard. The Blue Jay."

   "Yes sir!"

"Pfft, disgusting. I've always hated birds."

"I think he might be linked to the Metal-Eater sir!"

   "Oh really? How."

"I-I saw her release a blue jay and heard her voice in the crowd."

"Hmmm . . . Thank you Sparklez, for the help. Your family will be given extra food for this helpful information."

   "T-thank you sir!"

   "You are dismissed."

A/N: Sorry this one is a bit short guys! Also, I apologize on how late this came out. It would have been published earlier, but my device wouldn't turn on. So here you go! Over and out!
