Chapter 4: Rushing

Amber's POV

I had no clue what I was doing to be honest.  I was rushing around my dormroom like a chicken with its head cut off.  Reaching over to one pile of papers to pull one drawing out, only to throw it back for a different page on the other side of the room.

"Ambs, you've got to slow down.  Rushing around like this isn't going to help."  My roommate and best friend Paige told me as she watched me tear our room apart.

"I know, I know.  But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I really don't want to let Harry down.  I know I had this notebook with the perfect sketches somewhere, but I can't seem to find them anywhere."  I responded, becoming more and more frantic as I spoke.

"Ambs, it's going to go perfectly fine.  And there is no way you could let him down.  Just flaunt that pretty little face of yours and they wont be able to say anything but how amazing you and your work is."  Paige said as she grabbed my shoulders to calm me down and reassure me.  I took a deep breath and nodded.

    "You're right."

"Hey was this the book you've been looking for?"  She asked as she pulled back my comforter off my bed to show a relatively new notebook, with several more male design looks.

"Oh My God, yes it is.  Thank you, Paige!!"  I grabbed her and hugged her as she laughed.  "Hey, you think you might want to come with me?  Be my assistant and make sure I don't go crazy from worrying about making a fool of myself?"  I suggested, crossing my fingers in hoping she would say yes.

"Sure, I'd love to see this new guy.  How cute did you say he was?"

    "Paige!"  I turned bright red.

"What just because you're going to be working doesn't mean I can't check them out."  She teased me lightly.  I sighed and then laughed at her.

"Ok, well I think I have everything I need.  Are you ready to go?"  She shrugged and nodded as we headed out the door and out of the dormitory.

"Where are we meeting him?"  Paige asked as we walked down the sidewalk.

"At the cafe.  Whe are supposed to meet it 10 minutes, come on, hurry!"  We rushed down the street until we came to the cafe, and there Harry was standing there.  Gorgeous as ever, though I'd never admit it out loud.  With his dimples and his curly hair and his cheeky smile.

After I met him I immediately told Paige.  When she heard the name 'Harry' with curly hair and green eyes she went straight to her computer and introduced me to One Direction.  I had heard of them before but never really had enough interest to see what the were about.  When she played some of their songs I said they were pretty good.  Since then I was a little infatuated with Harry's eyes.

"Hey, you ready to go?"  He asked looking at me with a glow in his eyes.

Harry's POV

"Are you sure we can get this done before Saturday?  You know what Simon will say if we aren't ready for this interview."  Liam asked me, looking a little nervous about the whole arrangment.

"It's fine, I'm sure everything is going to turn out great and right on time."  I said confidently.

"And this has nothing to do with the fact that you fancy this girl."  Louis teased.

"I don't fancy her!  That much."  I said the last part quietly to myself, but the boys still heard it and chuckled among themselves.  I shook it off.  "I'm going to go pick her up, I'll be back in a little while."  I told them as I walked out the door and down the street in my hoodie and sunglasses.  I wanted to make sure I wasn't keeping her waiting.

I don't know what it was about her, but I liked her.  Though the whole dream thing was still creeping me out a little bit.  I kept thinking it over, the whole dream and what happened.  Should I really believe it?  I mean believing that I dreamt my own death was a little farfetched, even for me.  Then I reminded myself:  People who believe in supernatural dreams usually end up in a couple places.  Both of them are places where you get to wear nice white jackets with really long sleeves the tie in back.  And I didn't want to be in either of those places.  So just forget about it.  It's all just a lucky coincidence that lead to me meeting a beautiful girl who just so happens to be able to help me and the boys with our flat.

When I finished my mental ramblings I realized I was standing outside the cafe.  I turned and saw that she was fast approching with her raven hair flying behind her and her green eyes shining with excitment.  All I could do was grin at her.

a/n:  I hope you guys liked it.  I'm not sure if I should have like every other chapter switch POV or have both in each chapter.  Well, please tell me what you think.
