"Hey Dan... heyy Chris," Phil said awkwardly as Chris gave a dirty look.
"Hey Phil," Chris said bitterly.
"Let's go!" I interrupted the little war and headed out with them behind me. We walked down the stairs and out into the cold London air.
I saw the two guys from earlier sitting on the bench with the child from earlier on the taller one's lap sleeping. The tall on pet the child's brown curls and smiled.
He looked up at us and I waved.
He waved back and so did the mint haired one."You know them?" Chris asked and I shook my head.
"I think their neighbours, I don't really know.""You should introduce yourself some time," Phil suggested and I nodded.

We walked there, occasionally Phil would hum and Chris widen his eyes at me meaninglessly.
We walked in and was greeted by a lady with a brunette hair bun and deep red lipstick."Uh hello, Dan Howell," I told her my name and she looked my name up in the computer.
"Ah yes, appointment today. Oh wait your the pregnant guy?" She laughed at me and I nodded sheepishly.
Phil huffed and she stopped at the sight of him, when he became noticeable since he was behind me.
His piercings and black hoodie didn't give off the friendly vibe.
"You can take a seat," she said quickly, almost scared.
Phil nodded with a that's-what-i-thought smirk.
He rested his hand on my back and led me to the chairs, Chris trailing behind quietly. We sat down in the blue, plastic chairs and shifted uncomfortably.
"What a bitch," Chris muttered.
"Agreed," Phil commented and I nodded.
We didn't sit there long as we were called to Cat's office.
We walked there and opened the creaky door, with a smiling Cat already in there.
"Hey Dan, Chris and?"
"Phil," he introduced himself and she nodded. We all sat down in slightly more comfortable, cushioned brown chairs. There was also a hospital bed in the roomy office. She had a tiny desk with a computer too.
She stood there and smiled; not judging Phil's piercings and tattoos, my flower crown or Chris's rbf.
"So, in this appointment we are going to check on them, see how they are 'forming', I guess the word is," she told us and turned on a little TV looking thing.
"Dan, I will need you to lift your shirt up and lay on the bed over there," she pointed to the hospital bed.
I walked over and lifted my mint green shirt up, exposing my abdomen [expose him! expose him!]
I lay down, somewhat comfortably, as I waited for her to do whatever they do at these appointment thingies.
She came over with a gel and grabbed a little remote looking thing.
"This will be a bit chilly," she warned me and Phil chuckled.I looked over at him; he had excitement written all over his face.
Chris smiled wide eyed as he looked down at me. He had been my friend since primary school, and he was here for me.
She placed the cold jelly on my tummy and swirled it around with the stick.
She looked at the TV, which was pixelated and low rez.She searched for the fetus with the stick. I glanced at Phil real quick and I could tell he was anxious.
Chris looked jovial as well.
She looked around until we saw a minuscule black blurp.
She looked at it and smiled. It had barely any noticeable features.
She took the TV thing and zoomed in a little; technology has really evolved.
She squinted at it.
"Well, they look fine, oh yeah by the way that's your baby," she laughed and we started to laugh too.
"I can already tell that they are going to be awesome," Phil said and we laughed; even Chris.
"Well, the features are barely visible but they look healthy," she stated and pointed to the little black thing on the screen.
"I would like to schedule an appointment in 2 months?" She asked me and I nodded.
"What time and date? I'm not really busy here surprisingly," she chuckled and I nodded.
"How about a Sunday? Maybe around 3:30?" I suggested and she agreed. She wrote the time down.
"How about April 27th?" She asked and I agreed. I completely forgot it was February.
What even was the date?"What's today?" I asked.
"February 23rd," Cat answered and I nodded a thanks.I got up and cleaned up.
Phil, Chris, and I all grouped together near the door."Well, I'll see you April," she told us and we thanked her.
We walked out and saw the lady that laughed at me.Phil wrapped his arm around me and held me closely as we walked out. Chris crossed his arms, now he he knows how it felt to third-wheel.
I laughed at that thought as we walked back to my apartment.
>·<>·<>·<
We entered my apartment and Chris plopped onto my couch.
"Chris, how rude," I scolded him like a generic british mother.
"Sorry," he sassed back playfully and sat down more educated.
Phil sat next to me with Chris to my left.
"So... it's real," I said, staring off into space, catching the boys' attention.
"Yea..." Phil answered and stared at the floor, glancing at me few seconds.
Chris just nodded.
"So..." I trailed off with a slight croak at the end while tapping my lap with each hand at different times.
"Tea?" I finally said and they both nodded.
Why so awkward?I sighed at the thought.
What would the kid call us? Dad and Dad? Dad 1 and Dad 2? Dad and Pa? Papa? Father??
I was already worrying about things that I shouldn't be worrying about until the future.
I hummed a random tune while getting the tea bags and mugs. I set the teapot if the stove with water in it. I turned it on the highest temperature because I wanted it to be quick because damn they were awkward.
I waited for it to boil, hand on hip staring at it.
"So Phil... how're you?" Chris broke the silence; sensing it was awkward.
"I'm doin dandy," Phil answered.Chris nodded and hummed an approval.
The teapot whistled, catching everyone's attention, and I put each bag into each mug and poured the steaming hot water in.
I put 3 sugars in each and mixed it with the teabag string.
I turned around to the pair and gave them the mugs full of tea.
I sat down beside them and sipped cautiously at the tea.
Someone please speak its too awkward.
