Michael.

"Goodbye Mr. Martin. Take good care of yourself okay?" The nurse reminded me.

"Will do." I nodded and met Jacob and Elijah near the door.

"Where's Tiana?" I asked. She was supposed to pick me up but these two niggas wanted to show up instead.

"She had a few errands to run so she asked us to pick you up. Damn you don't want to see us?" Jacob scoffed.

"Okay calm down hoe. I can't ask a question" I laughed as we got into Jacob's car.

They drove me back to Tianas house and spent a couple minutes here. "Man y'all ain't got shit in here. Where's the food?" Elijah complained while sticking his head in the refrigerator.

"I told you their broke asses don't have a damn thing." Jacob shook his head

"You know what, both of y'all LEAVE." I threw a pillow at both of them. One hit jacob but Elijah dodged.

''No nigga. So you gon tell us what happened the other night or ignore the question." Jacob asked.

"I told y'all drop the subject we through with it alright?" I said. It wasn't even that damn serious.

"No we're not through with it. If you're involved with bullshit that's always going to bring me and Elijah into the situation because we always have pull you out of trouble." Jacob replied.

"He's right," Elijah stepped in. "Michael if you associate yourself with people like Jaren, you're life is going to be as fucked up as it was back in high school."

"Look I'm not doing anything wrong. I just got a little drunk that's all." I shrugged.

"Let me guess. Jaren was the bartender?"

"If he was, so what?" I said.

"He made you your drink? Were you with anyone? Why did you have blood on your shirt?" Jacob and Elijah questioned.

"Look it wasnt blood, it was red wine"

"Red wine my ass." Jacob laughed sarcastically.

"We're not dumb man. So you're really not going to tell us what happened?" Elijah asked.

"Not a damn thing because I didn't do shit." I blankly said. I knew I was lying, but the more they knew the more trouble I would get in.

They looked at each other, and eventually got up. "Bye Mike."

"Oh so y'all leaving now? Bet." I nodded.

"Nigga good luck." Jacob threw up a peace sign and shut the door.

They better stop being butt hurt and get over it. It ain't even about them. If I want to deal with it myself there shouldn't be problem.

Tiana.

It was 4 o'clock and I looked around for Jaren but saw no sight of him. He texted me to meet him out the gate but this nigga ain't here. In seconds I got a call from him.

"Hello?"

"Tiana where you at?"

"I'm outside the gate." I said. I heard him move around somewhere and then all I heard was silence.

"What the hell? Jaren?" I called out. I suddenly felt a pair of hands around my waist and I instantly jumped and moved away. It was Jaren.

"Yo ugly ass could have just walked directly in front of me." I shook my head and hung up the phone.

"My bad. Come in let's get your ticket." He said. We went to the ticket booth and got twenty tickets for the games and a wristband for the rides. After that we went ahead and walked on the boardwalk.
