Eventful Apocalypse

Day 2

We had to get to shelter and prepare for whatever may happen... Addie and I went to go get our friends. Kenzie, Lucas, Mathis, and Alex. Since we brought Alex, Jazmine followed. I didn't want her to follow. She hates me and I hate her, it will always be that way,  but Alex seems happy with her. Although, i she tries anything, I'm gonna have to kill her.

We decided that we would stop by everyone's houses and gather what we need, it was hard since we had to be quiet around the dead, but un-dead. Food, water, clothes, stuff for entertainment was really all we grabbed. I didn't pack a lot, but enough to survive. Some shorts and tank tops for summer, pants and jackets for summer. Honestly kinda excited for this, but if one of my friends die I'm fucked. For awhile at least. we grabbed a few weapons to, mostly the basic knifes, hammers, and my personal favorite so far, a bat.

"Hey Rosie can I talk to you for a bit..?" Alex implored, he looks worried, I can see it in his blueish greenish eyes, the fidgeting of his hands.

"Uh yeah sure. What's going?" 

"Jazmine and I haven't been doing too good. We're always fighting. And it's always over the stupidest things. Like one time we were fighting over if her outfit was cute or not. I don't care if she dresses fancy or what not. You know? That's not important to me. Just be faithful and trust me. I don't know what to do. Also, what if all of our parents are dead..? Are we all gonna have to be family? We're all only around 17 or 18." He rambled on and on. 

The worry in his eyes showed he cared. Although, he had a point. All of our parents might be dead. That's pretty scary to think about. They could've been eaten by whatever those things are. The last time we all saw them was this morning, anything could've happened.

"Well," I paused I don't know what to say to him without freaking out my self, "we'll just have to wait and see what happens..."

Since our last stop was Jazmines house, we decided to just camp out there since we had no where else to go, it seems pretty secure. Probably not for long, but it'll do. Her house is huge, there's enough room for each individual, but we came to a compromise that we would all sleep in the living room. Just in case we needed  to get out fast, we would all be together, but Jazmine being Jazmine decided to sleep on her own, in her room, upstairs. Fucking idiot.

I couldn't sleep, my mind was racing with all these thoughts. What if someone dies? What if we have to kill someone? What happened to our parents? Are our other friends still live? What's gonna happen...?

"Rosie... Why are you still up?" Kenzie asked while holding Mathis.

"You know, I could ask the same for you." I exclaimed giving a smirk laughing.

"Well yeah but, you are usually asleep by now. Is something going through your mind?"

"I just, I already want things to go back to normal. I wanna know where my mom and dad are. I'm just scared." I started to tear up.

"I kno-" Kenzie got cut off by the knocking on the door, but it wasn't human...
