'Star date: 2345.46
Today my mother had bought me this book to record my life at Star Fleet. I have made a diregitory decision to ignore the Vulcan Science Academy and exchange to Star Fleet Academy. My shuttle leaves in 5 minutes. Questions raise in my head.
What am I doing?
Am I doing it right?
Why am I doing it?
Then I remember- Vulcan is a civilized planet that has no time for a hybrid like me. Earth on the other hand has no words to describe it.'
The shuttle for new recruits to Star Fleet had come and Spock had not even looked back once at what he was leaving behind. His mother and father, his whole world has just ended when he stepped into that shuttle, but inside he knew that he was making a logical decision.

'I continue to journey through space as I look at many wonderful stars near to Earth. Proximia Century and Alpha Century and I can not help but wonder if this is what I will be doing.
Looking at the beauties of space through a Star Ship. Maybe, just maybe, I have made the right decision.'

"Hello." The conducter finnaly says to Spock.
"Greetings." Spock replies.
"So, did they like kick you out or are you mentaly disturbed to join Star Fleet?" He attempts to get a laugh out of the Vulcan with a humorous implication.
"Negative, I am Half- Human and Half-Vulcan. I had a choice."
"Ahhh, so the hybrid gets to pick, that's pretty cool."
Spock only nods and goes back to his diary.

'Humans are odd. The conductor greeted me and asked me if I am mentally disturbed. This is quite confusing. My mother had taught me certain behaviours of humans, so in this I categorise it as 'humor'.'
In 45 minutes, Spock looks out of the window and sees something gorgeous.
"Is that Earth? I am familiar with the look, but, it this is astonishing." Asks Spock.
"It sure is. The Blue Planet. Makes me wonder why we actually screw it up most of the time." He answers back.

'I have just arrived in Earths atmosphere. It is truly amazing and my words are lost. Our shuttle will land in 10 minutes. My wonder for Earthlings graduatly grows.'

"Welcome to Earth. Paparazzi will go nuts for you." Says the conductor.
"What does that mean?" Asks a very inqusitive Spock.
"Means that it'll be a big deal if a Vulcan joins Star Fleet. Kinda like a breakthrough."
"Oh." Was the only response Spock could have. It was a big deal if a Vulcan joined??? Spock, a big deal? Earthlings are different from Vulcanions- was the conclusion he finnaly came to.
As soon as the shuttle landed and Spock stepped on Earth, camera lights blinding him from every direction. Spock was not photogenic. At all. He prefered the quiet entrance.
He was escorted to the Academy where all the students lined up to give him a welcome. Spock did not even budge. He just walked straight into the Academy. There, the Admiral was waiting.

"Greetings." Spock says and does the Vulcan salute.
"Hi. You must be Spock."
"Affermitive."
"Let me show you around."

As Spock and the Admiral well through the hallways discussing, there was a certain student that was walking anonymously through the hall with them, poking her head out every chance she got.
"Spock huh? Nice name." She says to herself.

Back to Spock, he was escorted to his quarters to settle in.

'I have had a... different welcome to Star Fleet. It was not what I had expected. Humans are strange. With emotion and difference. Completely different. As I walked through the hallways, I noticed a certain student looking at the Admiral and I every chance she got. I truly do wonder for the females of this species.'
