Third-person's POV

(Y/N) and Kalluto were just like any other couple. You know, the I-love-you-more-than-anything couple.

But during these few days, Kalluto felt that something was amiss with their relationship. (Y/N) would cancel some dates of theirs, and return home later than usual.

So now, he decided to follow her.

"Hey, Kallu-chan, I'm going out for awhile, 'kay?" The ravenette (?) watched as his girlfriend skipped out of their room. He didn't reply with anything else than a nod.

(Y/N)'s cheerful smile fell, knowing that Kalluto didn't trust her. After all, who would?

Y/N's POV

I ran, faster and faster once I was out of sight. I jumped onto the trees, and jumped on them till I reached our meeting point.

"Killua, did you get what I asked you to?" "Yeah, here." He passed me some items.

Killua lowered his voice. "Say, wouldn't Kalluto be suspicious?" I smiled. "Of course he would. I just hope he'd trust me till tomorrow."

Kalluto's POV

Tomorrow? Is something happening tomorrow? It bugged me more, about (Y/N) meeting aniki.

She couldn't be cheating on me.. Would she? I furiously shook those thought out of my head.

Of course she wouldn't, Kalluto. Get a grip on yourself. Negative thoughts began to surround my mind, until a tear fell from my eye.

She wouldn't.

~Tomorrow~

"Rise and shine, Kalluto!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she pulled the covers off me.

I groggily rubbed my eyes and yawned. The first thing I saw was the blazing sunlight, and (Y/N) dressed in a formal outfit.

"Kallu-chan, after you bathe, please remember to wear this." She held up a fancier kimono than the ones I usually wear.

"Okay..?"

~Timeskip~

Once I was done bathing, I slipped the kimono on me. As if on cue, (Y/N) head popped into the shower. My face turned beet red.

"(Y-Y/N).." Her face broke into a huge smile. "Yup, it really looks great on you. Anyways, here." She tied a blindfold over my eyes.

"I'll guide you, so don't worry." She giggled. "'Kay?"

A warm smile crept onto my face. It'll be great if we stayed here, just like this. Time'll stop, and we'd just enjoy ourselves here.

~Timeskip, again~

The blindfold was being untied.

Suddenly, a chorus of yells deafened my ears.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KALLUTO!"

"W-wha..?" Tears began to well up in my eyes. (Y/N) immediately rushed to me. "KALLU! Are you okay?" I sniffled back a yes.

"Why would you.." Aniki (Killua) grinned. "Ask your girlfriend over there. She was the one who gave the idea and organised the entire thing. It was amazing that she did everything in a night."

I looked at my surroundings. Balloons, confetti, streamers, new wallpaper, tables, chairs, everything!

At the corner of my eye, I saw (Y/N) blush. "Well, if its for Kalluto, I'd be glad to do anything."

I buried my face in her chest. Muffled, I could only say "Phank tu, (Y/N)."

I heard a bunch of awhs that made me bury my head deeper, due to the embarrassment.

"But thank you, really, all of you guys. I think this is my best birthday."

A bunch of cheers went up.

After we were done partying, (Y/N) told us that it was time for me to cut the cake. She lit a candle.

"Make a wish, Kallu-chan." Without making a wish, I blew the candle. "E-eh? You're supposed to wish before blowing the candle!"

"True, but what I wish for is already in front of my eyes." (Y/N) face exploded in pink. Chuckles and laughter went around.

Soon, I passed the already-cut cake to everyone.

"But still, (Y/N), I can't believe you did everything in one night!"

"Thanks. I try, Kallu, I try."

"Kallu, you suspected me didn't you?" He sheepishly scratched his neck. "Yeah.. And I can't believe I forgot my own birthday too."
