Demon Lovers

Chapter Two:

Natalie's POV:

"Natalie... Wake up.... Wake up Natalie... We have school today." I opened my eyes and saw Taehyung hovering over me already dressed and ready for school. He moved from on top of me and sat on the edge of the bed. I sat up, stretched, then rubbed the sleep off my eyes. When I looked at Taehyung he gave me his adorable eye smile.

"Good morning sleeping beauty... It took you long enough to wake up." He said as he stood up.

"I'm sorry." I said with a sheepish smile.

"It's fine... I washed the clothes you left last time so go freshen up in my bathroom... Clothes and a towel are already there for you."

"Thank you." I said to him. I stood up and starting walking to the bathroom. When I was finished freshening up I put on a black long-sleeved shirt, a red skirt, and black combat boots. I braided my hair into two fishtail braids and walked down stairs.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Jin cooking food while the rest were sitting at the dining room table.

"Do you need help?" I asked Jin. He looked at me and smiled.

"No it's okay, I got it. You just go have a seat." I did what I was told to do and I sat down.

"Good morning Natalie... You look pretty today." I heard Hoseok say.

"Good morning... Thank you." I looked down because I could feel my cheeks heating up.

Breakfast flew by pretty fast and before I knew it we were already at school.
I parked my car and walked into the main entrance and their I saw my best friends Angel and Desi.

"Hey pumpkin... How are you holding up?" Angel asked me as she pulled me into a hug.

"I'm still very sad... But I feel a lot better now."

"That's good... Just remember stay strong... Angel, Taehyung, me, and his brothers... We're all here for you." Desi said as she wrapped her arms around my shoulder.

"Thanks." I told both of them. I turned to look behind me and I saw a guy dressed in all black staring at me.

I turned to Desi and Angel. "Hey do you guys see that." I pointed behind me.

"See what?" Desi asked.

"That guy dressed in all bla-" When I turned around he wasn't there anymore.

"I think you're imaging things." Angel said as she ruffled my hair. She looked at Desi with a stern look. I just shrugged it off and started walking to class.

While the professor was giving his lecture I was looking around the room. Angel and Taehyung were sitting next to me and Desi was sitting behind me.

I felt someone's eyes staring at me so I looked in the corner. I saw a creature with jet black skin, wings, and fire shooting out of his hands.

"Ahhh!" I screamed at the top of my lungs and held onto Taehyung for dear life. I started having a panic attack when the creature started flying towards me... Then it disappeared. When I looked around the room, everyone was staring at me.

"Miss Rose do you care to explain what just happened?" The professor asked me.

Taehyung looked at me... Then at Desi and Angel.

"Excuse me sir... But can Natalie, Desi, Angel, and I be excused." Taehyung gave the professor a stern look.

"Oh I see... Very well you may be excused." Taehyung held my hand tight and escorted me out of the classroom.

As we were walking through the halls I kept seeing creatures everywhere. Taehyung carried me on his back and started running, Desi and Angel right by his side. I grabbed Tae's shirt tight and buried my face in his back. I started crying in fear. We finally got to a large house in the forest. When we got in Taehyung sat me down on the couch.

Taehyung's POV:

When I sat her down I saw the state of panic she was in. She was quaking in fear.

"Natalie your okay calm down." Desi said.

"Natalie tell us exactly what you saw?" Angel asked worriedly.

I sat down next to her and wrapped my arm around her.

"I-I saw th-these scary creatures flying around... I w-was so s-scared." I felt so bad for her.

"We have to tell you something Natalie." I said to her. She gave me a confused look.

"Yes?"

"You know those things you saw... Their demons... I'm a demon too... And so are my brothers.... And Angel... And Desi..." I paused for a moment. "And you."  She looked at me as if I had gone mad.

"Don't you think I would know if I were a demon?"

"No not yet... Your powers are just now awakening... And you're not just any demon... You're the demon princess." I explained. Angel punched me in the arm and Desi pinched me.

"Way to break it down easy!" They both said in unison.

"Sorry I just wanted her to know everything." I said.

"Wait how come you guys don't look like them?" She asked us with a skeptic expression on her face.

"Because we're aristocrats... But even if we were in our true forms... We would still look better then them because we only get marks on are faces and our eyes turn black. And everyone has different marks... No two demons have the same marks." Desi explained.

"Since your demon royalty... All demons will be able to see your marks and tell that you're the princess because your marks are elegant and beautiful.And instead of black eyes you have really pretty red eyes." Angel said.

"Okay... I want to see your demon form." She looked at me and I had to explain to her.

"You're not going to be able to see my demon form unless... You fall in love with me." I explained and her cheeks turned pink.

"So what does being the demon princess mean?"

"It means your the ruler of Gehenna or the demon realm. It's been thousands of years since Gehenna has had a ruler. Demons are going to be searching for you for every kind of reason." Angel said.

"So it's our job to protect you." Desi added.

"Something's here!" Angel whispered.

"I sense it too." I said and then suddenly the house was blown away.

"Protect the Princess!" I yelled at them.

A demon with blue and red skin suddenly appeared. I fought him off the best that I could... I was winning.
When I finally knocked the demon out. I turned around and saw another demon teleport behind Natalie.

"Behind yo-!"
But it was too late. Before I could do anything the demon took her.
