⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Bostyn sighed and Brynn noticed a spark of guilt in her eyes. "I guess so. I lied guys," she spoke bluntly and paused for a second, watching both Tate and Brynn's faces twist into confusion. "I said I went home but I didn't. After we left the Ziegler household, I came here. To Rico's house. Which is why I knew where he lived. He told me I was just coming round to tutor him for an upcoming Spanish test, I am basically fluent in the language due to my heritage, as you know. But one thing led to another and he kissed me. And worse than that guys, I kissed him back. I liked it. I liked kissing Rico. In the words of a Spainard. Chicos, creo que estoy enamorada de él." Bostyn blushed slightly, her pale face going a crimson tinge as the blood rushed to the surface and finally the brunette looked at the expressions on her two friends faces.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I'm glad you taught me some phrases in Spanish," Brynn said with a smile but Bostyn could see a hint of confusion in her eyes. She wasn't surprised by Brynn's confusion, she'd always spoken about how much she'd hated Rico, which she'd thought was true, but after feeling his lips, tasting of Kool Aid and peanut butter cups, she'd fallen hard.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Tate was merely smiling, and Bostyn noticed her eyes slightly drifting over to the distracted face of Alex. She was in love as well, it was obvious. They'd both understood the Spanish she'd spoke to them, a few years ago Bostyn had taught them some phrases in the language that would come in handy when they didn't want everyone to hear what they were asking. Most were about love, one or two about asking for necessities and one about getting them away from a boy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"You liked it?" Rico asked, his brow furrowing slightly. Brynn was surprised he didn't know this, her friend had spoken in awe of their kiss and her tone of voice had out it blatantly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well yeah. So, Rico couldn't have killed Barclay and since the murders of both Barclay and Maddie seemed to be connected and committed by the same person then Rico can't have done it." Bostyn smiled warmly, her gaze directed towards the boy she'd kissed not so long ago.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"So who's the next suspect?" Tate asked after there was a few moments of silence. Brynn, Alex and Bostyn all shrugged but Rico opened his mouth with an opinion.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Chloe Lukasiak was Maddie's worst enemy. Maddie was the only person that knew about Chloe's identity of gossip girl last year. She knew all of her secrets and I'm pretty sure that the brunette was black mailing the blonde for Levi Miller. You know Chloe loved him and Levi loved both Maddie and Chloe. She said she'd reveal all of her secrets if she wasn't allowed Levi."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"How do you know this?" Alex asked, leaning forward and placing his elbows on his knees. He was a police officer, he was bred to be suspicious of everyone who seems even slightly shifty.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"She got drunk at a party one night. We had sex and then she spilt everything, like a drink spilt by a klutz. It was a shock, and once she sobered up Maddie swore me to secrecy. I never thought I would tell anyone. To be honest, I'd thought I'd forgotten. But her death brought everything back up and I always suspected Chloe."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Miss Lukasiak. I suppose she would be capable of murder. That girl could be capable of anything," Brynn said with a dry chuckle and Rico shot her an odd glance. "It was a long time ago, and I don't care to explain."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
