I am a black woman.
I do not have to have the thick thighs and oversized breasts to prove that.
I do not have to speak with grammatically incorrect smack.
I will do whatever I choose.
Does the melanin in my skin offend you? The way I glimmer so carelessly in the sun. Basking with my little hips and fingertips having all the fun. Does the way my hair curl while my edges are laid make you feel spite? Let me shine a little light, I am not only a black woman. I am a woman period, and with that I will never put up a fight.
Try to make me anything less then God bless your little heart, because you'll never find anyone just as determined and smart
Why hate when you can appreciate all that is art; The art hidden inside a woman's heart. Warm, bright, powerful, and sunny. Everything you want all wrapped up in honey
