While majority of the dragons took to the skies for travel, to be flashy and assertive of their power, many other dragons took to the seas and oceans as a means of travel, to be more discreet and undetected. A very large female dragon sped through the murky blue waters quicker than the others, speeding about like a fierce shark, only with a lot more scales and many times the size.Nuvat, as her name was known to be, was a very volatile and dangerous dragon to be around, and had never mated in her life just because of her controlling and assertive attitude. She was as fierce as any male dragon her age and was twice as ruthless as any mother dragon out there. However, she did consider one being a daughter, to say the least, her pupil Pela Valesquez. Pela was much like Nuvat, ruthless and cold, but Pela had an aura of sweetness to her, a real life tsundere. Swimming beside her patron dragon she placed a hand on the beast's side, communicating telepathically. "Nuvat, why am I doing this tournament shit again? I really don' want to be around other snot-nosed idiots thinking they have a chance at winning." Nuvat roared and raced for the surface, her back just arching out of the water. The force would push a ship across to its side, almost capsizing it.

"Don't be so cocky now Pela. You should pay mind to many of the other Dracomancers. Not all are single-elemented. Many use advanced elements and dual elements, and if the news was relayed back to me is true there are Dracomancers with mystical powers, like control over time and even control of death in elemented manifestation. This isn't a simple fight between the common eight elements, and although you've learned strategies over the eight main elements you still have to deal with the combined, advances and mystical elements." Pela hissed her teeth and grumbled, shaking her head before breaking off from Nuvat and swimming just ahead. She took notice of a cave ahead, and pointed to it, to which Nuvat nodded. It was the entrance for water dragons and other dragons that could swim, a cavern system that would lead to inside he island where the dragons could rest and the Dracomancers left alone to congregate on the outside. Pela looked ahead and sighed, shaking her head.

"Ugh... I bet Nuvat expects me to make friends here..."
