As I walked alongside Chloe, I couldn't help but feel a little regretful about leaving so suddenly.. "You go ahead and look at the station thing.. I will catch up in a bit." I said. Chloe smiled and nodded, and I walked back to the door where we left. I heard crying..

"M-Mom..?" I stuttered, feeling even worse.

"My child! The door flung open, and she hugged me. "You could have gotten hurt! I was worried!" She exclaimed. "I-I'm sorry.. I didn't know.. I-I was curious..!" I sobbed. "It's alright.. Let's go back upstairs." She calmly said, taking my hand. When I went to close the door, there was Sans, staring at me. He had no expression, and his eyes were black. I quickly closed the door.

"Here you go, my child." She said, handing me some pie. "Mom, can I help free the monsters? It's not right leaving you trapped down here.." I asked, and she froze. "I-I'm afraid not.. My child. It's too dangerous.. The only way to free us is for.. No. I'm not telling you. I'm sorry." She frowned. "B-but there has to be a way! I can go look!" I said, wanting to go back and help them. "Last time a child left these ruins, they died! And it happened to all of the others too! I'm not loosing another child!" She whimpered, tears in her eyes. "I'm different! I won't die! I would never put anyone in that kind of pain , I said getting up, and running downstairs. After a long hallway, I reached the end of the ruins.

"If you are so different, then prove it.. Prove to me you are strong enough to survive!" She yelled, and everything went black.

*Toriel blocks the way!

Four choices appeared in front of me. Fight, Act, Item, Mercy. I wasn't going to fight my new mom, what Act would I do, and I don't have any items except for food. Mercy it is.

*Spare
*Flee

Where would I flee to?

Spare

"What are you proving this way?!" She said, fire appearing in her hands. She threw it at me, and I dodged just in time.

This repeated, and I spared her multiple times, when finally..

"I get it.. The ruins are small once you get used to them. You are only trying to help." She smiled. "I guess.. I can allow you to help. Go tell Chloe to be careful. Goodbye.. My child." She kneeled down to hug me, and she walked back. I hurried out the door, realizing how long I have been gone.

I stepped into the snow, closing the door.

"Heh..."

I jumped, and turned around to see Sans.. "So.. What were you doing In there, kiddo?" He said, pulling down his hood. "Talking to my mom, do you have a problem with that?" I glared at him. Something about this skeleton.. How he appeared from the middle of nowhere.. It's strange. "Look, I thing we got off the wrong foot. How about we restart?" He said, no longer tense. He held out his hand- er.. What's left of it.

I slowly reached my hand out, and when we finally shook hands, I heard a noise.

"Heh, the whoopie cushion in the hand trick, it's ALWAYS funny. Anyways, I'm sans, you?" He smiled. I laughed, and replied "I'm Peyton, and my friend up ahead is Chloe. There is someone else, but they are still in the ruins." "Hmm, are you three sisters?"

"Pftttt- Hahaha! Do we look like sisters? No, we are friends. But we hang out so much we pretty much are sisters." I answered, laughing. "Heh, so how about we got back to the other kiddo, she is really worried about you. Cmon, I know a 'shortcut'." He said, extending his hand, and I took it. We suddenly appeared a few feet from Chloe, and she tackled me.

"WHERE IN THE WORLD WERE YOU?!"  She screamed, hugging me. "Nowhere special.. Sorry I worried you." I answered, and jut then, I heard a bark, and snowball appeared on top of us. Then the Annoying Dog, or as I call them, AD started waddling in circles around us. "Hahaha! This is definitely a sight to see!" Sans chuckled, taking a pic from his phone.

"Wait.. Chloe! I have my phone!" I yelled.

I jumped up and got out my phone, and luckily, it still worked even after the fall. I quickly called my sister from up on the surface, and she almost immediately picked up.

"PEYTON OH THANK GOD YOU ARE OK!" She screamed into the phone, nearly busting all of our eardrums. "Dude I have never been better in my life!" I said, smiling at my new friends.

"You better not get comfy down there! You need to get up here as soon as possible! It's too dangerous!" She said.

"Nah, I think I'm good." I replied, and hung up.

"Welp, I have to go work. Paps will get mad when he finds out I'm slacking off." He said, and he vanished in a blue fog.

"You have been busy, huh?"

I turned around, and their stood Frisk, but as a ghost.
