Sephiroth holds a cooking competition

Ch.1 Sephiroth tells everyone about his idea

Angeal walks in on sephiroth putting a white tablecloth on the table and then placing two plates with several different sets of knifes, forks and spoons.

" seph... What are you doing?" Angeal asks him.

Sephiroth just looks at him doesn't answer and turns his attention back to the table.

Angeal signs and decide's to leave the man to it not wanting to get him angry by pestering him with all the questions.

Just as Angeal sits down on the sofa, zack bursts in still full of energy.

Zack takes a look at sephiroth, then the table and comes up with "Hey seph, you got a hot date".

You then hear Angeal shout "PUPPY BEHAVE, just leave sephiroth be".

Zack comes over to his mentor and sits down on the sofa next to him.

Sephiroth finally happy with the outcome of the table, decides to join them and sits down in his favourite leather chair.

" so what are you doing seph setting the table out like that? " zack asks him if he had a tail you could see it wagging behind him eager to find out what sephiroth was up to.

"Zack, seph has only just sat down can't you give him 5 minutes of peace and quiet" Angeal asks him with a pleading look in his eyes hoping he will.

" AWW but geal I just want to know what he was doing" zack said you could hear the plea in his voice giving Angeal the best kicked puppy look he could.

You heard sephiroth sigh and say " fine I guess I should tell you ".

" so what is it " Angeal asks.

Zack buts in to say " look who's persistent now" with a smirk on his face.

They both look eagerly on at him hoping to find out what it was going to be.

" I'm holding a cooking competition " he told them.

Angeal looks at seph as if he's nuts.

Zack starts bouncing up and down on the sofa saying " this is going to be great ".

Angeal asks him who is going to be participating in it.

" well I'm going to, you are Angeal, Genesis and so are kadaj and yazoo, cloud and zack will be the judges".

You see Angeal slightly pale and put his hand over his face and shake his head and say" Genesis do you really think that's a good idea".

" why not?" seph replied.

" This is going to be so cool I can't wait cloudy finds out" zack says with shear excitement.

" you remember what happened to cloud last time Genesis cooked anything" Angeal questioned sephiroth.

Sephiroth turned his attention back to Angeal and said " oh yeah I forgot about that ".

" seph how can you forget that, you had to hold and comfort cloud while he was retching over the kitchen sink" Angeal told him you could hear the sympathy in his voice for cloud.

" well I'm sure he's improved on his cooking skills by now " sephiroth said " plus you know how he can be when he's left out of something he'll become really over dramatic about things ".

At that point cloud comes through the door panting.

" hey cloudy did you run all the way here, did you really miss me that much" zack asks him excitement in his voice.

Cloud had managed to get back some of his energy from the run to say "Genesis says he's lost loveless".

Zack laughs " ha after being so protective over some stupid book he finally loses it".

"ZACK " Angeal shouts at him " I taught you better than that what if you lost something how would you feel ".

" sorry Angeal " zack says with his head down to the ground.

" your not going to apologise to me then and I heard that to puppy you wound me you really do". Genesis says as dramatically as he can standing near the door ledge.

Still with his head down zack turns to face Genesis " sorry gen I didn't mean it " you can hear that it is a sincere apology from zack.

Genesis looks at zack holds his arms out and says " come here puppy ".

Zack hears this and goes over to hug him, you can never stay angry at zack for long.

Genesis then notices that he left loveless on the table picks it up and holds in what can only be described as a death grip.

Cloud finally asks what's going on.

" I'm doing a cooking competition, we only have to wait for kadaj and yazoo now". Sephiroth replies.

Just as sephiroth finished speaking they both turn up.

" right cloud and zack will be tasting the food and the rest of us should be cooking everyone ok with that" sephiroth asks.

Cloud and zack say in unison " yep".
Yazoo tilts his head and nods.
Kadaj says " yes".
Genesis replays with " you know I am" and Angeal says a simple " yeah".

" right with that settled cloud, zack do you want to be blindfolded or not" seph asks holding up two blindfolds.

Zack sees the blindfold starts hoping on his seat and says " yeah I want one".

Cloud also wants one so replies with " yeah okay " is all cloud says.

Sephiroth hands one of the blindfolds to Angeal so he can tie it round zacks eyes when he needs to.

Yazoo asks " so are we all cooking at once or one person at a time?" He tilts his head to the side.

" the kitchen isn't big enough for all of us in at once so I suggest two people at a time and we put our name by each of the products so when everyone's done we can give it to them" Genesis says.

" okay then good plan gen" sephiroth says Angeal ruffles Genesises hair like a puppy".

" so who are the first two to cook then" kadaj asks.

" how about kadaj and yazoo then" seph replys.

They both say yes together and walk into the kitchen.

Cloud puts his hand over his mouth to zack and says " I hope Genesis has improved on his cooking " zack snickers at the comment.

" I heard that Strife " Genesis says from the door.

" sorry Gen " cloud says giving him his best kicked puppy impression that he picked up off of zack.

" ah how could I stay mad at my little chocobo " Genesis says and ruffles his hair.

" right everyone out apart from kadaj and yazoo" sephiroth ordered.

You see them all run past him.

Sephiroths lasts words to kadaj and yazoo were " try not to burn the kitchen down"
