The two entered the castle. His dad was at the table reading a book about muscles and how to strengthen them. He looked up at his son. "I see you brought a friend home." He smiled. "Indeed, father." Paris said smiling as best he could. "She is here for treatment. He leg has been injured." Paris gestured to the cut on her inner knee. "I see." His dad then called upon a servant to escort her to the doctor's office. Then he turned to look at his son. "You've never brought home anyone before much less a girl. Who is she?" He rested his chin on his hand and looked at Paris. "She was wondering if she could apply for a job as a maid here at the castle and in the process she fell on the cobblestone." He lied. "Oh. How unfortunate. Well we always need maids here now that some of our employees passed away. Go tell her that she can work here. We need able-bodied people here." Paris nodded and walked to the doctor's office. The young lady's leg was already patched up. "You can work here in the castle if you so choose. We provide rooms for our employees." The girl nodded. "Thank you."

As evening was setting in Paris sat on his bed thinking about her. She was absolutely beautiful. From the moment he saw her he knew he loved her. He daydreamed as he read his book. Suddenly there was a quiet knock on the door. "Come in." He said. And in she came. "I never asked what your name was." She said. "I'm Paris. And you are?" "Xavier." A smile spread across her face. "I know I just met you a few hours ago but would you mind going to dinner with me in the morning? Or after school?" Her offer was tempting. "After school then. I'll be looking forwards to it." He smiled. She exited the room and he went back to 'reading'.
