Enjoying and Not Enjoying Life

The next morning,after i bathed and changed,the first thing that happened to me when i was about to go out ,was i banged my head on the doorway since i'm tall even though i've reminded myself heaps of times to be careful of that,and then i slip because who knows who ate a banana and and fell of the stairs,twice! And then i hit my head,yet again on an archway entrance to the kitchen and then the milk carton was actually finished and i had to eat dry cereal with no milk and i was so thirsty and my head hurts so bad.I glared at my sister.Oh,you're enjoying this aren't you?

"What's wrong sis?"Kayla asks,snickering.

"Shut up,it must be because of Sam–Samanth–Samantha! Grr!! i can't even say her name!?"i screamed.

 Kayla gigled."I know,i got a bump on my head from this morning too,"she says with her face all serious.

"Must it really be her?" i sigh."And you drank all the milk,Kayla."

Kayla shrugs,"whateve,i don't like her,so i'm not going to care.And sorry,there was not much left."

And that's when i realised something very important,like it's a matter of life and death.

"Urm,Kayla...did you think of stepmother if Samant–bully girl,comes?" worry came to me.

Kayla's eyes widen."Crap,why didn't i think of that? If "she" comes the other "she" will surely enjoy torturing us to our death beds."

"They're the "she" beasts.What is she,a sadist?"

"Okay,cut the slack,we're running late to school!" said Kayla.

We sped off,not washing our dishes."Hey! What about our dishes?!" i shout.

"We'll do that laterrr!! Even if we don't,that she beast will kill us!! Now hurry up!"

We reached the time record and thankfully was safe from getting into trouble.

"See you later,sis,"Kayla says.

"Yup! See ya!" i waved to her and rushed to class.

I look from afar,i have 20/20 vision,so it's helpful at times.Oh good! The teacher's not here yet."Hey,you're in the way,"said a voice behind me.

Oh great,i know this voice."Ugh,sorry,"i apologised glumly.He smirked."Why,were you waiting for me?" Great,Jaycey it's the last most least person i want to end up meeting with in the morning,other than my own stepmother.

"Ewww...who'd wait for you?!" his smirk got bigger.

"I don't know,all the girls i guess."

I rolled my eyes."Move,i'm going to be late for class,"shoving him aside."Hey! That hurts!"he whined.I rolled my eyes again as response."Ugh,don't be such a wimp!"

At last,when i finally got to my seat,another thing occured to me,when in the world is Samantha coming? Don't tell me..today?! The teacher walked in the class,apologising for being late."Class,we have two new students coming to our class."

Oh crud! This is it! "Please step in,miss....–" Have you ever had the moment when you feel like you just want to ram your head to the wall over and over again until you can't even think properly? Yeah,I'm having one of those moments right now.Just thinking about it makes it feel real,and it hurts.

".....our new student Alexandra Jason,please introduce yourself,"continued the teacher.I looked up,huh? It's not Samantha? Oh,what a relief.Alexandra looks tough and a strong-willed girl,i like people like that,the one who doesn't give up so easily."Hi everyone,my name is Alexandra Jason,i'm from New England,Concord and urh..i hope to have a pleasant year with all of you."

The teacher nods,and Alexandra sits at a seat in the third row in front of us,hey,i don't know all the teachers' names yet,so i don't know his name.A student raises her hand."Um,Mister Randolph,you mentioned "two" students,where's the other one?" He looked at a couple of documents in his hand and answers,"the other one is on leave,she'll be coming next week,now hands down! The lesson is about to begin."

After Literature lessons were over,there was space so i went to the library.I read a book there; Pride and Prejudice somehow,this story has a lot of feel to it,and when you read it,your mood changes according to what's being told by the author.A girl slides in the chair next to me.I glance at her.Oh! It's Alexandra.She noticed me looking at her and looked at me.I flinched.

"What?You think i'm cute or something?"she said softly.

"No! What book are you reading?"i said it softly since we're in a library after all.

"Can't you tell by looking? It's one of Charlotte Brontë's book; Jane Eyre."

"You're not an Austen fan?"i ask her.

"A bit,yea.I like the opening of her book Pride and Prejudice."

"It is truth universally acknowledged,that a single man in possession of a good fortune,must be in want of a wife," said me and Alexandra in unison.We stared at each other then started laughing.The librarian glared at us."Oops! We made her mad.It's a library,i forgot,"said Alexandra,still laughing a bit.The bell rang."Hey,wanna go eat lunch together? Since i'm new,i don't have many friends."

"Sure!"she replied.We put back the books and left.

We sat down at an empty table,and started eating."You know,"said Alexandra suddenly."Hm?"

"You're not such a bad person as i thought you were,you're kind of nice,"saying those words with such a sweet smile made me blush."Is that so?" embarrassed much? Gee,don't flatter me,Alexandra!

"It's such a rare sight to see the newbie 'Rosette' smile so happily."

"Ugh,not you again! Leave me alone,Jaycey!"

"Who's he? Your boyfriend?" Alexandra asks.

"Whoa! Whoa! Definitely not! Does he look like he's my type? He's a jerk!"

"That just makes him a lady-killer,"said Alexandra,batting her eyelashes.

"Alexandra!!"

"I'm just teasing!"she laughed.

"Ahem.I'm still here you know,"said Jaycey.

"Hey,Alexandra,do you here something?"

"No,was it a fly?"

"Yup!"

And with that we burst out laughing and left the lady-killer,Jaycey to be in such a bad mood.Ah,i guess high school days can be fun too.Let's just hope it stays that way.

Gee,Jaycey is such a brag,but that's why he's one of the main characters.He plays an important role.And Alexandra is a sweet girl,but something about her is suspicious.

Kayla is just such a good sister,even though she teases Amber sometimes,she's still a great sister :] And who knows what will happen to them in the next chapter..seriously,this chapter,i got stuck in between,i didn't know what to write.So please,if you have any suggestions for the next chapter,do tell,it'll help alot.
