Caught Up

Chapter 4

Victoria's POV

I sat in the chair next to Mia's cousin. I was scrolling down my timeline when I saw Katrina calling me. Her call was way overdue.

Katrina: Hey Boo!

Me: Don't Hey Boo Me!

Katrina: Girl Please. How was your date with Anthony?

I frowned at the phone

Me: Date? Girl that was hell. His breath damn near burnt my face off. I tried to stay away from his ass for the rest of the night.

Katrina: Girl You lying!

she laughed.

Me: I wish I was. Girl I promise you I will never let you set me up on a date. Ever!

Katrina: Girl please! It wasn't that bad.

Me: You must haven't smelt his breath.

Katrina: I mean there was a little stinch, but shit I thought it was because he was eating onions.

Me: Onions. Girl that night he had to be eating shit!

I burst into laughter causing people to look at me. I tried to get up but Mia's cousin head was resting on my shoulder. I tried to wake him but he wouldn't move so i just sat there.

Katrina: Shut yo mouth! But where are you. I was thinking we could go out to the mall or something to catch up.

Me: Girl. I'm @ the hospital. My assistant family was involved in a bad accident and she wasn't in any condition to leave by herself so I brought her.

Katrina: Awe! I see you care! I just hope she is better than the last one you had. her hoeing ass!

Me: Tell me about it. Trey and her should be just fine for each other cause I dont want his ass no more. See I'm trying to move on. But with yo ass trying to set me up on them damn blind dates with guys who eat shit aint helping Kat!

Katrina: Girl my bad. I thought he was cute enough to get your mind off of Trey but I guess not.

Me: Yeah. He was fine. But I just couldn't deal with that shit.

"Family of Lisa Jones" a doctor said approaching the waiting room.

Me: Kat. I gotta go but I will text you where to meet me at tonight. Love you girl

Kat: Alright. Love you too.

"Hey" i whispered nudging him. He looked at me with lazy eyes.

"The doctor is here with information on your mother." He lift his head causing his lips to brush across my skin causing my body to heat up. He stood up and grabbed Mia hand as they walked towards the doctor. Looking at them with anticipation hoping to get good news only reminds me of when my dad passed.

"Vicky! We gotta go to the hospital your dad has been in a car accident " Katrina yelled in my ear over the music as I danced on Trey.

"What!" i shouted dragging them by the arms. It was was my 18th b-day and we went to the club to celebrate.

On the whole ride I couldn't help but to think about the argument we had hours before I left.

Once we reached the hospital I ran straight to the nurse's station.

"Hey I'm looking for Nicholas Parker."

"The doctor ask for the family to wait in the Waiting room until further notice."

The whole night i couldn't sit or do anything. I just wanted to know if my father was going to be okay.

"Family of Nicholas Parker." the doctor called after what seems like hours.
