“OK, so you are basically the same age and height and body type as Naomi, but you are Nicole. You got it from your aunt and grandmother. You don't know where your parents went, so that's why you are living with Jim.” Janet reads off what her and Naomi write down. They are in her bedroom.
“Yeah. I never told anyone this, but I like Vocaloid and I am an otaku. So basically a nerd...”
“So nobody else knew but you?”
“Yeah, the others didn't like how I was dating Tom. But my dad, him, and I were the only ones who knew I was a nerd. I even own glasses.”
“So there we go! That's how you're different from Naomi.” Janet smiles and they both high five. “But now, we need a different style.”
Naomi looks scared. “A... what?!”
Janet drags Naomi to the mall.
“But I'm fine with my outfits now!”
“Nicole, you don't wanna look like Naomi, do you?”
Naomi sighs. She knows she can't get out of this one. “No... I sorta do need new clothes anyways. Maybe with my credit card, I could get some video games and the systems I've wanted.”
“That's the spirit!” Janet and “Nicole” try on many different outifts and get a ton of video games and a Playstation 3, an XBOX, and a Wii.
“Do you need that many games? Haha!”
Naomi whispers in Janet's ear. “I'm Nicole, not Naomi remember?”
“True.”
They come back a few hours later, Nicole wearing a cute red dress with black fishnet stockings and white heels.
“Wow. Nicole, you are a totally different person.” Her father comes out putting his hands on his hips. “Its simply fabulous!” He taunts.
“Dad! Stop.”
“Well its just my job to embarrass you.” He goes back in the kitchen and gets supper for the girls. “Tonight we are having Mac and cheese with green beans and hot dogs.”
“Yess!” Nicole goes up and eats her food, Janet following after.
The goal is this:
Have people believe that Naomi is Nicole, then reveal that she is Naomi. Having a video from when she was in the hospital would be proof. The picture of them taking off the bandages would also be proof. This lie would go on for the summer, and then be revealed when they are about to go to college.
This is the game plan.
