Chapter 1

Peter Hawk, a 17 year old teenager was now ready to be bestowed upon him is own power.

Each person would receive 1 power; they would only be able to receive this power when they had reached a certain age and completed a number of tests. These tests involved strategizing, teamwork and combat. Once you passed this test you were qualified to receive your very own power. These powers gave you complete control over what element you received. He met up with his friends on the way to The Realm. 

“Oiii Faggots!” Peter called out; his friends turned around and laughed. “You guys exited?” 

“Hell yeah!” James replied, one of Peter’s friends. “Hope I get Fire! What about you Pete?” 

“I don’t care; all of the powers are awesome, what about you Scarlett?” 

“I wouldn’t mind getting Ice.” She replied with a smile. 

“Well let’s go guys.”  James told them.

It took them about an hour to get to The Realm. It was surrounded by thick trees. In the middle there was a huge crowd of people all about the same age as Peter and his friends. This place almost made Peter squeal but he held it in because he knew James would find a way to tease him about it. 

“Where do we go?” asked Scarlett, a huge grin spreading across her face. 

“Dunno.” Replied James also showing the same expression. 

“Excuse me; do you need help of where to go?” They turned to see a woman, probably in her forties dressed in a white uniform. She was one of the guardians for The Realm. 

“Yes please,” Said Peter “You don’t happen to know where you can receive your powers do you?”

“Of course, just follow that path and you will come to a large Lake. Just jump in and relax until you feel a sudden rush in energy, hope you brought your bathers.” She returned with a wink.

They laughed and started to walk down to the Lake. 

“Wow!” Scarlett exclaimed “It’s huge!” 

The Lake stretched for miles. The water shined in the Sun’s rays, producing beautiful colours. 

“Here?” asked Peter

“Yeah, seems like a good place to rejuvenate, haha.” James laughed. 

“Well looks like we strip off to our jocks then James.” Peter told James. 

“Haha yeah but what about Scarlett?” James questioned. 

“I’ll just go in my clothes.” She laughed.

Peter and James jumped in the water in their underwear and Scarlett went in her clothes. They talked for a while laughed and splashed around. At one point Peter shoved James underwater, but a guardian came by and told them that this was no time to be doing this and they had to relax.

“Bitch!” Joked Peter, they all laughed.

About an hour passed and nothing had happened. 

“How long are we supposed to wait in here?” James asked Peter. 

“How the hell would I Know, it’s my first time doing this to remember.” 

“Woah!” Shouted Scarlett” “Did you guys feel that?”

“No?” replied Peter.

A lady came by, 

“Excuse me young lady, your powers have been given to you will you please get out”

Scarlett’s face lit up. 

“Aah!” James yelled 

“Looks like you are ready to Sir.” The lady told James. 

“Suck it Peter.” Teased James. 

“Ouugghhh!” Cried Peter. 

“You ok?” Scarlett asked

“Oouuggghhhh! Help, please do something! Help!”
