Chapter 2

Peter was dragged out of the water unconscious. 

“What’s wrong with him!” screamed Scarlett “Do something!”

“I do not know what is happening!” Replied the woman “This has never happened before!”

A crowd started to form around Peter’s lifeless body. They all murmured and whispered. 

“Who is he?”

“Is he going to be ok?”

“Is he breathing?”

“Uugh,” Peter muttered very faintly “what happened?”

Scarlett started to cry. 

“Oh Peter, a-ah-are y-you ok-k?” Scarlett stammered dripping wet “I thought you were dead! You weren’t breathing, I was scared Peter!” She was bawling her eyes out.

Peter tilted his head to look at James who was still in his underwear and looked very pale “Hey, looks like you beat me.” Peter said barely managing to stay conscious. 

“Just shut the hell up Peter! This is no time to be joking around! I thought my best friend was dead!” James said now yelling. 

“Well I’m here now, *cough*” Peter replied. 

“Im sorry sir but you will have to be taken to the medical bay to see if you are ok.” The woman interrupted. 

“Sure.” Peter answered, he turned to his friends “You guys go on, don’t wait for m...”

“No, we are coming with you Peter.” Scarlett interrupted. “We have to look out for each other!”

“Very well then,” Said the Guardian “Follow me.”

Peter was taken to the medical bay and was told to lay down on a bed. The medical bay was made a large white room. The walls looked like marble but they told him the walls were made out of a rock called Naga rock, a rock that apparently stops the flow of magic in your body. Scarlett and James stood next to him. Peter had blood tests, needles were jabbed into his arms he was also asked questions about what he had eaten and stuff like that.

“This is all a bit serious isn’t it,” Scarlett told the two of them “I Mean blood tests, really?”

“Yeah it is a bit strange,” Replied Peter “Looks like the only thing we can do now is sit and wait.”

About an hour passed and they were still doing tests. Finally a man walked up to them, he was dressed in a white lab coat and had small glasses like some creepy scientist guy. 

“Ok Petey yo…”

“Peter.” Peter Corrected

“Ok Peter,” The scientist continued “Your results say that you are fine to go, we don’t actually know what caused you to black out, we think it might be cause you were into the water to long but anyway, just be careful ok.” 

“Thanks,” Peter replied a little annoyed. “Mind telling us where to go now to check out what powers we got?”

“Mellissa!” The scientist yelled.

A short woman attractive woman with brunette hair ran up. “Yes?”

“Guide these kids to the Power Identifier.”

“Very Well,” She answered “Follow me kids.”

Peter, James and Scarlett followed the woman out of the medical bay and down a path. 

“See that building down there? That’s where you go.” She told them “Bye.”

Peter smiled as she left. The building was huge! Inside there were large crowds if people, some with small fireballs in their hands, others zapping people. 

“Awesome!” Screamed James, Scarlett also grinning. 

“Where do we go?” Asked Peter also smiling uncontrollably. 

“They walked up to a group of people who were using their powers and asked where to go, they told Peter to go to the room where it had a big sign at the top reading “Power Identifier”

There was a large line out the front so they stood there but it quickly depleted. The room was filled with exited chattering. Scarlett went in first, 

“Wish me luck.”

About 5 minutes later she came out and looked very happy. 

“Yeah! I got Water!” She screamed 

“Show us!” Peter said letting another person in front of him.

She thrusted her hand out quickly and a small stream of water shot out. 

“Awesome!” James yelled 

“I’ll wait for you over here.” She walked off with water encircling here body. 

James walked in next and took around five minutes also, he teased Peter about him getting Fire and Peter felt a little jealous. James walked over to Scarlett and sat next to her.

 Peter was next, he started walking down the long corridor and was greeted by more Guardians. 

“Right this way sir.” One of the Guardians said to Peter who was pointing into a room. 

“Just place your right hand onto this bench, an image will start shining and that will be your power.

He looked at the bench, it was round and had 10 symbols engraved into it.

A Flame-Fire

A Water Droplet-Water

A Stone-Earth

A Cloud-Wind

A Leaf-Nature 

A Snowflake-Ice

A Lightning Bolt-Electricity

The Sun-Light

The Moon-Dark

A Skull-Death

“Ready when you are.” A Guardian told him.

Peter his right hand onto the bench and it started humming. Suddenly a shriek escaped one of the Guardians throats. 

“I Don’t Believe this! You have all the elements!”
