Damien's POV
Well damn.I wasn't expecting that response at all. She really turned me down. If I knew she was gonna say no, then I would've been focusing on the time instead of her.
"I can't stand that shit!", yelled Shaun after collapsing on the ground. Bear crawls aren't as easy as they seem when you have to do it for 20 yards.
"Watch your mouth son! I mean it when I say don't be late for practice", said Coach Earl. This man does not play around.
Shaun was smart enough not to talk back. Because if he did, his ass would have to do 40, 60, 80, 100s. He'd be demolished.
An hour into practicing , Coach Earl pulls the assisant coaches over to the side to discuss something. That gave the team a chance to take a break. Everyone headed over to the bleachers. Jeremy, Shaun, and I went to seat on the bottom row.
"I'm so tired bruh", said Jeremy while leaning back and breathing a little heavy.
"Same here man. My skin is literally crying right now", said Shaun. He grabbed his gatorade bottle and shugged it down in just seconds.
I nodded my head in agreement. "Those bear crawls got me worn out", I said with a towel placed over my head ,shielding me from the sun.
"Following up with you, we had to do those stupid crawls", I heard Jeremy say.
I snatched the towel from off my head and looked to my left where Jeremy sat beside me.
"Following up with me??"
"Yes, you", in a nonchalant voice.
"Jay is right tho", said Shaun. Now I'm looking at this fool on my right from out the corner of my eye.
"You just had to go holla at ole girl", said Jeremy.
I chuckled a bit," I mean, why would I not?".
At that time, I started to think. For some odd reason, I've been noticing Sabrina all day long. She caught my attention from when she got caught slipping in Mr. Wilson's class, when she yelled "clutch" at lunch, and especially in the parking lot.
I mean, we do have the same classes with each other and have been classmates for as long as I remeber, but I've never really talked to her nor checked her out. During the time me and the fellas were just chilling at my car to pass some time before practice, I noticed her walking by. And this time, I observed.
Sabrina's smooth, chocolate skin made my sweet tooth ache for a taste, her curly hair made me want to run my hands through it, and omg her body had a nigga wishing. To touch it, rub it, and have my way with it would be amazing.
I feel like a moron for not noticing her before. You can't really blame me for it because she has always been the more conservative type of girl and isn't an "attention seeker" like most of the girls at our school. Maybe thats why she hasn't popped up on my radar.
"DAMIEN!!!!!", yelled Jeremy and Shaun.
I must've been too caught up in my thoughts.
"Like I was saying", Jeremy looked at me to make sure I was with him this time and continued to say,"I guess you do have a point. They were fine asl".
"Yeah. I was definitely feeling Ren. Imma have to try that one out," said Shaun, thinking about his new mission.
"I got my eyes on Janet. I think she'll do quite nicely", smirked Jeremy.
"Once we got them, we can might convince Sabrina to actually say yes to your unwanted ass", said Shaun.
I knew these idiots were gonna bring it up, fml.
These niggas started laughing like fucking hyenas. I guess seeing a girl turn me down for the first time ever in my life is hysterical. It's not.
I mean-mugged tf outta them and said with full confidence,"Babygirl just making it a challenge for me. I'm not fazed one bit because in the end I'm gonna get my prize".
"This should be interesting", Shaun said with a devious smile.
"Hell yeah", Jeremy replied.
Girls have never resist me before. So why does Sabrina want to switch things up and be difficult? Maybe it's time I up my game a notch.
"Alright boys, back to the field!", Coach Earl said.
Everyone ran back to the field getting into their positions.
Hut 1, hut 2, Sabrina I'll soon have you.
