Chapter 3//First High School Party

When I finish with my homework, I get ready for the party. It's around 9 and I just told my mom about it. "Can I go? Please?" I beg leaning over the counter as she sips from her mug.

"Who's party is it?" She squinted, folding her arms.

"My friend Dani's friends. They're innocent okay they are just nerdy and weird and innocent. You don't believe me ask Dani she lives one house down." I sit on the stool and await her answers.

"Fine but don't have sex, no alcohol, no drugs. You break any of these rules I will hurt you. Don't think I won't. If I find out you impregnate a girl then I'm beating you and her. And let me smell a drop of alcohol in your breath and I will shoved my foot down your throat. If you dare to bring any drugs in my house Andie I promise you that you will pay. Be back home by 11. Don't make me tell you again." She nods and walks off. I cheer and fistbump the air.

My first party. I'm slightly disappointed that it wasn't a big high school party. Although the entire school was invited who'd want to come to a nerd party.

I walk back up to my room and get in the shower. Afterwards I put on deodorant and throw on my clothes. Which was a simple gray v-neck, black pants, and my gray chucks, along with my black hoodie. Nothing much.

I just hang around the house until around 10:45. Then I get a text from Dani.

Nerdy Fangirl🐼: Macky is on his way to pick u up sorry I didn't txt u earlier had to help with party he'll be there in 4

Me: ok

After I waited a few minutes there was a honk from outside. I looked through the window to see Macky in his car waving. I walk out the house and put my phone in my pocket, getting in the car.

"Yo. I thought you weren't coming." He says, reversing out the drive way. "Yea turns out Dani forgot to text me where the party was at and everything. But how many people are there?" I ask looking out the window.

"The entire school bro. I told you this party is lit."

"But why would the entire school show up for a freshman party?" I look over at him and he laughs. "Oh yeah I meant to tell you, that I'm a Junior. I'm not a freshman. I only hang out with them because of Dani." He explains, pulling up to a house with drunk teenagers passed out everywhere.

I thought there wasn't any alcohol. He must've came to the wrong party or something. He and I both got out the car and headed towards the front door. Along the way many people fist bumped him.

I walked in and was taken a back. All of the school had shown. Music blaring through the speakers and girls grinding on people. The sight was revolting. Although I'm still trying to find in where I fit in, I'm sure it's not here. I turn to leave only to bump into someone, who's drink have been spilled on me.

"Crap my drink."

I look down to see who it was. And was surprised when I saw Dani. She wasn't in her usual sweater weather outfits. She was wearing a black shirt, white short shorts, and black chucks with her hair down.

"Dani?" I ask uncertain. I can't believe I'm seeing her in actual clothes. "Oh hey Andie. Sorry about that mess right there." She says pointing to my chest. "C'mon let's get you cleaned up."

She takes my arm and drags me through the grinding, sweaty bodies and into the kitchen, where the island was taken over red solo cups.

She grabbed some paper towels and lead me out the kitchen. "Here you go." Dani hands me the paper towels and I pat myself dry while looking around again. The house is big enough for this many people to be shoved in. Although, with all the chaos I can't picture it as a normal house.
