Chapter 19: On My Own

Louis's P.O.V

The next morning i woke up. I really should just look for a girl who isn't related to Ashley or anyone. I should just stay away form girls until i really find one I really like. Harry is still sleeping, so i just decided to go on my phone and just scroll around things. After a while Harry is still sleeping. I look at him and seen his phone in his hand. I grabbed it slowly out of his hand. It was messages from Ashley. I unlocked his phone, and go through the messages they went..

Harry: Hey

Ashley: Did you tell him?

Harry: Yea.. he seemed a little hurt by it, but i think he would be okay.

Ashley: Why would you tell him!? He is going to be so mad at me and wont like me anymore.

Harry: Well its your fault for doing it

Ashley: Its his fault for falling in love with Pheefee!

Harry: Why are you like this?

Ashley: I'm goin to bed, okay? Bye!

Harry: Alright then act like that..

Ashley: Harry, i'm sorry.. could you atlease tell Louis that i'm sorry?

Ashley: Harry?

And it ended there. I texted her saying "why dont you tell him yourself?" I still can't believe she would do that to me though. I put Harry's phone back in his hands and act like i never touched it. I silently got up and went to the kitchen. i grabbed a quick snack and sat on the couch.

I felt arms wrap around my neck and a girl voice said "Aw whats wrong Lou?"

I turned around and it was just Melissa. I noticed a ring on her finger.

"You to? I said."

"What?" She said in confusion

"Engaged" I said.

"Oh yea! I'm engaged..." She said kind of sounding down.

"What the matter? You don't seen too thrilled?" I said.

She sits down next to me and says "I don't know.. I don't know if i have that much feeling for Zayn that i would marry him.. It just changed and i was planning on breaking up with him, but then he gave me the engagement ring..So now I don't know what to do.."

There was a door slam and we both jumped. We turned around to see if someone came out, but there wasnt no one. Then we heard something break.. It was definatly coming from Zayn's room. We both looked at eachother.

"Shit! what have I done! I'm such a horrible person!" Melissa started saying.

"No your not.. I'm dealing with horrible things too" I said and started rubbing her back.

"Does any of the problems lead up to breaking your fiance's heart." She said.

"Well....No" I said.

"I don't know what to do.." She said.

"Just give it a while then talk to Zayn about it" I said.

Brooke come in the living room and said "What's up guys?"

We both didn't say anything.

 "Okay then don't say anything" Brooke said. And she went off to the kitchen. I see Harry come out of my room and he looked at us.

"No Lou, don't flirt with Melissa now" He said.

"So now I can't talk to girls?" I said.

"I'm just playing with ya" Harry said and messed up my hair. We both smiled, and I looked at Melissa and she was so upset. It makes me feel so down.

"I should just go" Melissa said. "I'm just going to be trouble here especially to Zayn."

"No your fine" I said, but she starts to get up. "Please don't go" I said silently.

"I'm sorry Lou, but I have to" She says and starts collecting her stuff. She goes up to Zayn's door and knocks asking if she can get her stuff. He opens it and walks out to the bathroom. His eyes looked all watery. Melissa went in and got all her stuff and walked back out. She set the ring on the counter and said "bye everyone" I stood up and went to her before she went out the door. I gave her a big hug then let her go.

Harry is staring at me and said "what just happened?"

"Melissa broke up with Zayn" I said.

"Wow, you and Zayn always have troubles with your girls" Harry says.

I give a little smirk. "So we hanging today?" I asked.

"I guess, it'll just be me and you" Harry says.

Harry and I both smiled at eachother. "How does paintball sound?" Harry said.

"Amazing!" I replied. We havent gone paintaballing in years! I'm so looking forward to it. "When?" I asked.

"Noon?" Harry said.

"Okay, i'll eat and get ready" I said.

****Noon that day****

We finally get to the paintball arena. Right when we get in Harry gets a text message. I continued forward while Harry looks at his phone.

"Uh Louis" he says.

"Yea?" I say.

"I really got to go, i'm sorry this is real important call up Nial and Brooke or someone to play with you I have to go now." Harry says and starts wlaking back to his car.

"How am I suppose to get home!?" I shouted.

"Call Liam or something, I have to go now" Harry says and starts his car up. I he serious? He is literly ditching me right now? even if its that important he should atlease take me home. I run up to his car, and open the passenger door and get in.

"Louis what are you doing?" Harry says.

"I'm going with you, after all its suppose to be a day with eachother so i'm going with you." I said.

"Fine, I just need to stop Ashley" He says.
