Jacks POV
I woke up with an enormous headache and a huge pain in my thigh. I looked around, seeing I was still in the basement except moon was no where to be found. I tried getting out of bed but the pain was too much. I yelped out with pain as I finally sat up straight. My leg was bandaged tightly making most of the pain go away. It didn't help much as I stood up straight. I screamed out in pain before falling back to the bed.
"Ohhh jackaboy!!!" I heard Kim call before she walked down the basement stairs and over to me.
I looked at her with disgust as she strut over to me and sat beside me.
"Where's y/n?" I asked her as she put her arm around my waist. I tried to push her hand off until I heard a click of a gun. I looked up to see Moon standing there wearing a bulletproof vest and holding a rifle.
"D-don't try anything ja-jack" she said nervously. Kim smirked at me as she saw the surprise on my face. I saw bruises on y/n's face. She looked terrified and distant. Like she'd been brain washed.
"Moon..." I said before standing up, forgetting about the pain in my leg. She pointed the gun at my face.
"B-back up Jack..." She said as a tear run down her face. I didn't wanna hurt her so I sat back down on the bed farther away from Kim.
Ring ring
Kim's phone started to ring.
"Look I have to take this call. I might not be back for a while. Y/n? You're gonna stay down here with him until I return" she demanded.
I sat there in shock as Moon just nodded her head and continued to point the gun at me.
As soon as Kim left I got up and tried to limp towards her. Even though the pain was absolutely terrible I had to try.
"Jack! I said back up!"
"Look moon please... I know you don't want this."
"I said back up!!!" She yelled before starting to sob.
I stood still. "Moon..."
"Don't ever call me that again."
"Y/n... I can tell you don't want to do this. Please y/n... Put down the gun." I said in a soothing voice as I started limping up to her a bit slower.
I got close enough to her and decided something that would change everything. This could either get me killed or save us... But I had to try.
"Y/n..." I held her cheek and swiped away the hairs sticking to her face. She lowered the gun. That's when I saw the perfect opportunity. I slowly leaned in and kissed her and to my surprise she kissed back. I didn't expect it to be anything except something to snap her out of her current state but it turned into much more. I felt sparks and butterflies all at the same time. I pulled back to see a huge smile on her face before pulling her in for a hug. Then we heard the basement door open and a loud clapping noise.
