Your POV
I woke up this morning at around 6 to talk to Jack, knowing Devon doesn't wake up until at least 10am. I suited up in my bullet proof suit and grabbed my rifle just in case Devon saw us.
I made my way to the basement silently and tiptoed down the stairs.
I seemed to startle Jack as he jumped up as the floor boards creaked under my feet.
"Hey, Y/n"
"Hi" I replied shyly as I approached him at his bed. I sat down beside him and stayed quiet.
"I know it's awkward now..." Jack said as his hand overlapped mine. I pulled my hand away.
"Jack I can't. Can we just work on the plan and getting out of here?" I said before standing up.
"Y/n. I like you. I know you like me too and I can't just pretend the kiss never happened!" He replied raising his voice a bit. I stayed quiet. He stood up, grabbed my hand and cover it with both of his hands.
"Y/n. Please tell me you feel the same". Again I stayed quiet. A tear ran down his cheek. He really meant this?! He pulled his hands away, wiped his cheek and sighed, "if that's really how you-" I cut him off with my embrace.
He laughed and I smiled back as I looked up at his face.
"Now that that's settled", he started with another giggle, "we can focus on our plan". I just nodded with a smile.
We discussed a few things with a few laughs along with it.
"So I can't do anything or else Kim would kill me. I feel like if you offered something to her like a kiss? Maybe she'd take that" I requested.
"Ya but she can just force me to kiss her..."
"True"
We sat for a few more minutes in silence.
"What about something more than a kiss?" I suggested. He looked at me with a confused look before his eyes widened as he noticed what I meant.
"No! No no no! 3000% no!" He said almost yelling.
"Jack... It would work" I said as I rubbed his back trying to calm him down.
"I can't do that to you. I don't want to do that anyways." He replied as he hung his head down.
I looked at the floor and sighed.
"Fine." Jack finally said. "But I won't enjoy it"
I don't know why but I smiled that he was willing to do this for us to be free together. I probably shouldn't have been happy because you know, he was gonna fuck my sister but I still smiled. And he smiled back.
