Chapter 4 - *CLICK!* *CLICK!*

~Karma's P.O.V~
I moaned from the bright light against my face, wondered how long I'd been sleeping. I blinked, shut my eyes, blinked again. I yawned, managed to fully open both eyes.
I was about to stretch, when I realized that I was still holding Rio's hand.
The doctors cleaned the wound on her head, stitched it up and made her stay at the hospital for the night.
I decided to stay here with her, just so that she has someone that she knows with her.

Seeing her stitches made me flinch.
If I only I walked her home, she wouldn't of gotten hurt. I stroked her blonde hair repetitively.
"She looked so beautiful" I whispered.
Her eyes started to flicker and then her eyes lit up with enjoyment.

Wait!- did she hear me ??

~Rio's P.O.V~
I am in a heavy black cloud. Nothing to see. Nothing to hear. Just this heaviness in my whole body. So heavy that I cannot move.
I struggled a bit, but I finally managed to open my eyes.
The first thing I saw were ruby-colored hair and golden eyes.

One of my hands felt warmer than the other. I looked to where the warmest hand was; tightly gripped by Karma.
"Karma.." I quietly said.
"Yeah, it's me" karma replied.
I quickly sat up in the hospital bed, and wrapped my arms around him.
"You stayed with me..." I told him.
He wrapped his arms around my waist, "I wasn't going to let you stay here, with people you didn't know" he implied.
I blushed and smiled.

~Third Person P.O.V~
*CLICK!* *CLICK!*
A bright light, flashed at Rio and Karma.
Rio looked startled and removes her hands from around karma's neck.
"What was that?" Karma said

"Oops, should of taken the flash off"
Koro-sensei says while on the ceiling.
Rio slaps her forehead, "How long have you been up there and why were you taking pictures?!".
Koro-Sensei gets down and slithers towards Rio's bed.
"Not long, probably around when Karma called you beautiful" he shrugged.
Rio stared at Karma and blushed.
He called me beautiful.
WHEN?!??
Karma looked at her and smiled
*CLICK!* *CLICK*
The flash from Koro-Sensei's camera  blinded them.
Karma walked over to Koro-sensei.
He reached for his anti-sensei knife and pointed it at Koro-sensei.
"That flash is starting to really piss me off" Karma snickered.
"Nurfufufu, I'll -" koro-sensei nervously said.
Karma stabbed at Koro-sensei, however Koro-sensei dodged it.
Koro-Sensei quickly scuffles out of the room, while also dodging Karma's knife attacks.
"Oh, the pictures I took will be going into my new album."
Koro-sensei left at Mach 20
They both chuckled.

-Awkward silence-

Both say in unison "I-".
Rio quickly says, "You first".
"I was just going to say that I really meant what I said about how you looked beautiful".
She blushed, "Thanks!".

-Awkward Silence-

"Wasn't you going to say something?" Karma scratched the back of his head.
"It was nothing, don't worry about it!" Rio quickly replies.
Karma sighs, "Hmm...Fine".

The doctor enters the room.
Startling Rio, Whereas Karma didn't even flinch.
"Oh, so it seems that your awake".
Rio nods.
"Well, we cleaned and stitched up where you was hit on your head"
"You can also go home tomorrow" the doctor said.
Rio politely said, "Thank you for helping me".
The doctor replied, "No problem".
The doctor turned to face Karma.
"Oh you must be her boyfriend-"
Rio, "He's not-"
Karma, "It's not like that-"
"Oh I'm sorry, either way you can stay if you like. If you get hungry call a nurse over and they will gladly try their best to assist your needs"
"Cool". Karma replied
"I'll get going, see you in the morning!"
The doctor waved and turned to leave the room.

He then spun around and looked directly at Rio.
"I called your parents, but they are both out of town. They said they won't be able to come tonight" The doctor said worryingly.
Karma looked straight to Rio.
Rio pulled the bed sheets over her head and rolled over onto her side.
"They've always been distant to me since I've been in the end class."
"So it's not really a surprise". Rio said bluntly.
"I'm sorry to hear that, if you need anything don't be afraid to call for me"
The doctor leaves.

Karma's blood started to boil, He shouted, "how can you say that so calmly, your parents should be here with you! You nearly got kidnapped! You could of died!".

Rio was surprised to hear him yell like that.
She got out of her bed and ran towards Karma.
She placed both hands on the back of his neck, and pulled him in and pressed her lips against his. He place his hand at either side of her hips and pulled her in closer.
He pressed his lips onto hers.
His lips were rough and smooth, they were perfect.
She then took her lips off of Karma's lips.
"I don't like it when you get angry and yell." Rio said quietly.
Karma kissed her on the cheek
She immediately blushed
He then whispered into her ear.

"I love you".
Rio froze.
He-he loves me?..
I can finally tell him..

she then replied, "I love you too"
