Chapter 3 - Am I Dead?

~Rio's P.O.V~
I could feel the loud repetitive thud from the kidnapper's heart, drumming in my ear.
My head was pressed against his chest.
The person holding me, was definitely running. Every step, made my head pound with such intensity.
I couldn't open my eyes, just squinting them made my head throb with pain.
I tried to wriggle myself out of his arms, even though if I succeeded, I would probably fall and crack my skull on the pavement.
A familiar voice said, "Rio, don't move your injury to your head will get worse".
How does he know my name? ...

I flinched; It can't be, could it really be....

No it couldn't be....
"LET ME GO!" I yelled.
"Rio! It's me Karma, your safe now!" he shouted.

Why is he here, I thought he was going to help Okuda.
Never mind that, Here's here now (Well that's what I thought)
My vision started to ease up.
My sight was a bit hazy, but I could still see.
His crimson hair flowed in the wind, angelically.
His Mercury-like eyes glared right at me.
My thoughts were true.
"K-Karma..." I whispered.

~Karma's P.O.V~
If only I walked her home, she wouldn't of gotten hurt.
She hasn't moved since I got her, but I can feel her breasts pressing in and out of my chest.
She looked so beautiful; my heart started to beat faster and louder.
She started to move and wriggle in my arms.
"Rio, don't move! the injury to your head will get much worse" I told her.

She quivered at my voice.
Her eyes flickered, yet they still stayed closed.
"LET ME GO!" She yelled.
She must still think she's with those men.
Hatred started to fill my veins, I felt so angry.
But I couldn't let that show, I didn't want to scare her, not when she's like this.
"Rio! It's me Karma, your safe now."I shouted.
She squinted her eyes and then they finally opened.
Her blue eyes glimmered, while she stared into my eyes.
"K-Karma..."she whispered.
A tear rolled down her face.

~Third person P.O.V~
Tears started to stream down her face.
"You c-came.." She bawled.
Karma placed his hand on her face and wiped away her tears.
"Don't cry, of course I came." Karma said softly.
Rio tugged at Karma's shirt, "Can you put me down, please?".
"Are you sure, the injury to your head is pretty serious, you know" Karma replied.
"Yes.....please" she replied.
As he was told, Karma placed her on the floor gently.
Rio looked around nervously.
"Where are t-they? The two m-men-" she said anxiously.
Karma grabbed both of her hands, "Koro-Sensei is taking care of them" Karma replied reassuringly.
Rio look at her hands and blushed.
Karma removed his hands and shoved them into his pocket.
"Sorry.." Karma apologized.
Rio, without hesitation, grabbed his hands out of his pocket and held them.
"You d-don't need to apologize." She smiled.
He blushed and smiled back
There's an awkward silence....

Out of nowhere, Rio's wraps her arms around karma's neck.
"Thank you, for helping me!" She loudly told him.
"You should be thanking Koro-sensei" he implied.
"I'll thank him later, I'm thanking you now because you got me away from those guys and ...... You made me feel safe" She said.

'Safe'

Hesitant at first, Karma wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Your welcome" Karma replied

Rio refrains herself from Karma and starts to sway slightly, from side to side.
"Rio, Are you okay?" Karma said worryingly.
"Don't worry, I'm fine-" Rio replied.
Rio collapses into Karma's arms.
Karma muttered, "Your not 'fine' ".
Rio open her eyes slightly, she then whispers "When I'm with you I am".
"Rio..." Karma whispered quietly.

~Rio's P.O.V~
My head started to throb uncontrollably.

Day soon turned into night, as the darkness engulfs me.
Paralysing me; making me lose the inability to talk or move.

It's probably true but.....

Am I dead?
