Chapter 2- Mysterious
We got to my room, and now I was utterly confused.
"What? Why does your kingdom do these weird things?" I asked.
"Silly, it's called traditions. They're passed down throughout our subject's generations, since their ancestors gifted it." Autumn tells me.
"I think she's still totally lost, Autumn." Aisha flips her hair so that it shimmers into life as it trails down her, in perspective, sexy body.
"Yeah, you lost me a while ago, remember?"
"Uh, nope. Sorry, Lizzy." The younger of the two foreign princesses is stubborn as a mule. I have told her dozens of times that it is Elizzabetta, not Lizzy. But, in their short time with me, they have grown expectations of me.
And that expectation stops me from every raising a word against Aisha or Autumn that might hurt them physically or mentally.
"I need some rest. I'll be in the garden." I strolled out of the room, knowing they didn't know where the garden was, so I could be left in peace.
I passed numerous servants along the way, noting a few new faces, and returning old ones. But the most memorable passing by was that of Zachary Kurosaki.
"Oh, hello, Elizzabetta. Where are you going in such a rush without your guests?" He inquired.
My face flushed scarlet at the mention of my lack of entourage, "T-they're in the, uh. In the..." I trailed off but he seemed to take it as a lack of awareness on my part. So, before he could say a word, I finished, quickly, "room. They are in my room, while I go get us some fresh herbs to cut up for the cooks. It was Princess Autumn's idea, not mine."
I hated lying to him, but his expectations... well, this is very unladylike, but, curse this wretched curse!
He nodded, "I see. Well then, I'll see you later, Liz."
And with that he stalked off, dazzling as a sun in his own way, making me his victim to soak it in.

I got to the garden and breathed in the refreshing air that burned of New Leaf season. The plants were growing at such a snail paced speed, but they were surprisingly green as the lushest of grass.
The trees were their own art show. Everywhere I looked, trees painted with magnificent blooms of strokes would grace my sight.
"New Leaf sure is a beautiful season, isn't it?" A voice thought aloud. A voice unrecognizable to me.
I found my voice after the initial surprise passed, "Yes, it truly is. And it's my favorite season of the cycle of life."
I still had yet to find who the voice belonged to. That answer was soon gifted when a pleasant boy of my age with silver hair, white shoes, off-white shirt and capri's, and matching silver eyes strode out from behind the grove of budded trees I was looking at.
The boy laughed, his voice slightly higher pitched than that of my father, and his laugh was melodic as it seemed to hypnotize me in as a snake gets hypnotized by a snake charmer.
"What's so funny?" I demanded. I didn't know this boy but he has the nerve to just come out straight and true and laugh at me?
"I'm sorry. I know that was rude, but it's not everyday that you meet someone who willingly says that their favorite season of life is New Leaf, especially to a person who also in intrigued with New Leaf. It seems to draw you in a way you've never been drawn before, or hear a sound you don't recognize. New Leaf is the season of rejoicing winds, celebrations of plants, and the whispers of new-borns to all species."
"Oh gracious."
"What? Did I say something funny? I always seem to do that. People are afraid to talk to me, so I say weird things. Sorry if I bothered you."
"What? No, it's just-" You don't have any expectations of me, even when you know a part of me, "that that was so beautifully poetic. It almost brought me to tears."
And it was the truth. Hearing the words come out of his mouth, the way they controlled the air and seemed to suffocate me, it was beautiful.
He laughed again, then he stretched his arms out, as if to feel the air around him. And that's when I noticed it.
"You're blind."
"Yes, I am." He seemed sad, suddenly, letting his arms drop to his sides, "Does that realization make me now unwanted here? If so I can leave."
"No, your presence actually reminds me of freedom, so please stay." I couldn't bear it if I had hurt a person who can't see. But he seemed a person who wouldn't want pity.
"You're so nice." He sighed, "I wish everyone had a heart like yours. Or from what I have heard from it at least. Now, will you help me find you. As you have already taken into account, I can't see."
"Oh, yes, of course. Here." I rushed to him and he slung his arm over my shoulders. Together, we walked to the shrine of my kingdom's, Ërdonaiwe, prime god.
We sat down at the base of the monument, just enjoying the presence of New Leaf, and the comfort of each other's arms.
After what seemed like a lifetime, the strange boy sat up.
"Now, I really must be going. Thank you for your kindness. Bye now!" With that, he left.
Leaving me behind, staring into space.
And I realized.
I didn't know his name.
