The couple walked into their homeroom classroom Monday morning, holding hands and gathering the attention of all who they passed. They chose two seats, put their books under their desks, and sat down next to each other, resuming holding hands afterwards.

Everyone admired their relationship, even the teachers, some of whom had been married for a surplus of years. They were virtually the perfect couple. Always next to each other, putting the other before anyone, and smiling at each other from across the classroom when they weren't able to sit next to each other. They had been voted cutest couple multiple times, not that they cared. All they cared about was each other.

So class began, but they were lost in their own little world. Just staring into each other's eyes and smiling endlessly. Usually the teacher's would leave them alone cause they both passed with flying colors. However it was a week from finals and the teachers were bothering all the students to be sure of their ability to pass.

"Miss Rose, can you answer the question on the board?" The teacher removed his glasses and watched Chloe look over at the board and begin analyzing the complex Calculus equation.

Something wasn't right and Chris could tell. Chloe was passing BC Calculus with a high A. She was always able to solve the question within a few minutes of seeing it. It had been a full ten minutes and she still hadn't answered it. "Um... I'm not sure, sir."

She placed her hand on head and rubbed it, contemplating why she couldn't solve the problem. She had never had this issue with any classes before. Suddenly she realized she had a pounding headache that was hurting in all location in her head.

"Chloe, are you okay Princess?" Chris placed his hand on her back and began to slide up down, attempting to comfort her in any way.

"I'm fine, I just have a splitting headache," she said with an exasperated sigh.

"Need me to get you anything?"

"I don't care."

"Want to lay your head down?"

"I don't care."

"Want to go to the moon?"

"I don't care."

Chris got out of his seat and walked up to the front of the classroom. He approached the teacher, placed his hand on the man's shoulder, and leaned in to whisper. "Sir, I have a feeling something might be legitamatly wrong with Chloe. May we be excused so I may take her home?"

"Yes, yes you may Chris. Hurry and get her home. Thank you for asking."

Chris walked back to where Chloe was seated and picked her up in his arms, cradling her like an infant. "What do you want Chris?" She was speaking in a hushed tone, as if she was tired or in great pain. Something was seriously wrong.

As he walked out of the classroom, he could hear a chorus of voices making the collective "Aw" sound in admiration. He heard that noise on a daily basis. Every girl in the school was envious of the girl in his arms. Every boy in the school couldn't stand him, since the fact that any girl would dump their boyfriends to be with him, no hesitation.

None of that mattered to him. He just wanted his girlfriend to be okay.

After a short drive from the school to Chloe's house, he opened her door, loaded her into his arms, and carried her up the cobblestone path to her front door. He leaned down and pressed his nose into the doorbell, alerting Chloe's mother to their presence.

He waited a short five seconds for Ms. Rose to come to door, she opened it wide for them to enter. "Chris, Chloe, what are you two doing here? Should't you both be in school?"

"Yes ma'am we should but Chloe wasn't feeling well and I think something might be wrong."

"Like what Chris? Did something happen to her?" Ms. Rose was quite worried now. She her heart rate rose significantly and she began breating heavily.

"No ma'am nothing happened, I don't think. We were sitting in 2nd period, BC calc, and Mr. Stevenson asked her to solve a problem on the board. Now, you know that Chloe can answer questions within seconds, without hesitation?"

"Yes?"

"Well she stared at the board for ten minutes and was not able to answer the question. She then started rubbing her head, saying she had a headache, and the laid her head down. I asked her a few questions, trying to comfort her, and she kept responding 'I don't know.'"

"That is very odd for her."

"That's what I was thinking. As far as I know, nothing happened between the time I picked her up out side this morning and the time we sat down."

"Well if you would, carry her to her bed and I'll take care of her from there."

"Yes ma'am."

Chris didn't want to leave his girlfriend alone, especially with her in this condition. He carried her to her bedroom down the hall and layed her down in her bed. He covered her up in her covers, took his pocket knife out of his back pocket, placing it on her bedside table, and kissed her on her forehead. "I love you princess."

"Uhhh," she groaned. "Love you too Chrissy Boo. Good night."
