Why me? (Sonic Fanfic)

Chapter 6

As I walked through the woods again, I heard laughter. This just pissed me off even more. I walked in the direction of the laughter to see who it was. It was the green dude, Scourge. I wanted to know what was so funny. I crept up behind him. I guess the other ones noticed me because they slowly moved out of the way. I pulled out the knife shining it in the sun light. I placed it up to his neck and asked," What's so funny Scourge? I don't see anybody else laughing. What's so funny?" Everything grew silent.

I saw him mouth to his friends," Help me!!!" I said," They can't help you Scourge. Your on your own. Now answer my question. What's so funny?"  He started trembling with fear and then the blue one stepped up and said," What the hell is wrong with you?! He wasn't bothering you, was he!? Leave him alone!" All of my attention directed towards him now. I let Scourge go and said," As you wish." and teleported behind him. I whisper in his ear," You know this is all your fault, right? If you would have just left me alone, none of this would have ever happened." I teleported in front of him holding the knife out to him. He just looked at me like he was confused. I rolled my eyes and said," Because of you I lost track of time. Everything was fine until you attacked me, which brought along your other friends. If you would have asked me for the shiny thing or Chaos Emerald what ever you wanna call it, I would have given it to you. But nooooo!!!!!!!!!! You just have to take action before you even know what's happening. And when he saw me out here with three guys, it just made the beating I was going to get worse."

I asked the red and black one if he does that all the time. He just put his head down. I took that as a yes. I lowered the knife. His eye started twitching again. I heard snickers come from behind me. My head shot in his direction and he grew quite again. I pointed my knife at the red and black one. He was leaning against a tree with both eyes closed. I guess he got my message because one eye opened and he said," You rang?" I said," You seem like the type that would answer my question. Do you think I should just end all of my pain and suffering now? or should just go on with my life and endure the pain I go through everyday?" This made the other two eyes widen as they looked at me. The red and black one walked up to me and said," I don't know. If you want to, you can. It's not up to me. If you feel you can't take it anymore, do it. It probably won't solve anything, but hey its your choice."

I stood there for a moment to think about what he said. Tears flowed with all of the memories of being hurt and losing people appeared in my mind. I brought the knife up to my neck. Thoughts ran through my head. Ren you have so much to live for. Why kill yourself? You've been bearing through this situation for years now. Your big brother wouldn't want you to kill yourself or your sister.  The knife shock violently in my hand. I couldn't do it. I had so much to live for. The blue one stepped closer to me. I just put the knife on the ground. I felt a hand on my shoulder. Then he said," I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you in any way. My names Sonic. Sorry for attacking you earlier."

I accepted his apology. suddenly I heard a rustle in the bushes behind us and someone yelling something.
