The room is clean and smells like flowers in spring.
I get up and walk to the kitchen where dad and Mitchelle are smooching.
Ahh I wish I hadn't seen that
I clear my throat loudly so they would stop kissing each other.
They look at me, not surprised but dad has a tense look on his face as if he just wants to shout at me.
I look at him with no emotion in my face.
He finally speaks.
"Hon' , you found friends, and that's great, but- " Here it goes he's gonna shout at me.
"Stop eating my ice cream "he pouts

" Dad, you're so funny " I chuckle.
Mitchelle chips in "Breakfast, I made waffles and there's strawberries and whipped cream in the fridge " she smiles so I can see her perfectly white teeth.
I sit on the bar stool and put a plate on the counter.
I get up and get waffles l, strawberries and whipped cream to put on my plate and I eat,
It tastes so good, it tingles on my mouth like tiny fairies dancing on my tongue.
I get up when I'm done and brush my teeth, change into jeans and a top with my dad's name on.
My phone beeps.....
I check it.

I beam and run down the stairs to my dad.
" Dad , may I go to Alec's place? " I ask sweetly
" No, Amanda , and that's final , no more discussions" he yells and walks away.
I run up my room, feeling the tears stinging my eyes and this huge lump on my throat. I feel like I can't breath so I scream.

I lie in bed and cry my self to sleep.
By the time I wake up its still 1 o'clock.

I text Alec.

I climb down the stairs and see my dad snoring on the couch.
I step out of the front door making sure Jayhugs doesn't see me. Luckily he's in his kennel.
I step out of the gate relived that no body saw me.
I start to jog towards Alec's house.
I stop in front of 42 Lake City , it's big but not as big as my house but it's big. Like this big
