Chapter 25

Vanessa POV
It was Christmas Break and it so happened to be that today was Christmas. Yes, my parents are in town so I'm currently home. Right now I'm doing some last minute wrapping while my mom prepares tonight's dinner. I was nervous for tonight. Jason's coming over. They need to accept the fact that I love Jason. He's the guy I've always loved. They want to see their daughther happy right ? Well anyways I continued to wrap gifts just thinking.
Soon enough the time has come and I was doing finishing touches on my hair. I guess I looked presentable.

Well in my eyes don't know my dad . Incase you haven't notice my Dad has always been that strict father when it comes to everything. Like I can dress with all that crop tops and stuff. Just not in his house. Also , with the boys as you can see very strict.  He likes Ryan and Maejor but, not Jason. Oh yea he met Ryan because of Dani.  But , like really .  I know I understand Jason has a long criminal record but , so do the rest they were part of him. Anyway Ryan and Dani were already here. Ryan was with my dad talking up a storm. While Dani was helping my mom in the kitchen. All of a sudden the door rang so I went and opened it. Wow Jason on time shocking. But , when I opened the door it wasn't Jason.  It was Branden ( Maejor). " Um hi " he said. " Hey but not to be rude what are you doing here ?" But before he could answer . My parents answered " We did "' they said I at the same time. They let Branden in. Wow , this already was going to be a long night.  Dinner was about to be ready and Jase still wasn't here.  " Honey , your new man sure isn't started off to well" my mom said " Look at that it's already time to eat and still hasn't arrived. Late already " my dad said.  They then both escorted everyone to the table. I was about to follow but the bell rang. FINALLY! I thought to myself. I opened the door mad there he stood with a smile .

He was about to peck my lips  . But , I stopped him and whispered yelled " Your late !" . " I know I'm sorry ". He said.  " why are you late you don't live far ?" I asked " Babygirl I was trying to look sexy then I got caught up in my sexiness ". He said smirking. I rolled my eyes.  I led him to the kitchen. He ofcourse brought Kenny along. In which I warned my mom about a plus one . We walked in hand in hand. Everyone was focused on their food they didn't notice our presence till Jason spoke up.  " Good evening Mr and Mrs . Rojas , Merry Christmas ". Ryan,Dani , and Anessa smiled at us. Branden didn't bother looking.  My mom is shocked and my dad is fuming. Jason squeezed my hand tighter.  My dad stood up. " Ah no wonder he's late it's Mr. McCann " my dad said with a fake smile. " You know sweetie when u said you invited your boyfriend I didn't expect to see this guy's face again. I thought you learned your lesson ". I gave him a look. " but no instead you bring me this criminal " he was starting to raise his voice. " A boy that has been committing crime for years. A boy who has hurt and left you many times. Has disappointed you.  Someone who has done drugs.  Someone you has a bad influence on you. He even has a guard in his tail .A young man who recently just came out of jails after three years. ; That's the man you bring into my house ... again ".  He said.  " Jason doesn't and never will disappoint me ". I said.  " Well Vanessa I don't want him in my house or roof. Let alone I don't want him Eatting at my table!!. " he yelled.  " WELL FINE I JUST WONT EAT WITH YOU , I'll WAIT TILL YOUR DONE AND EAT WITH JASON ". I yelled.  Wow , I'd never thought I'd yell to my father. I grabbed Jason's hand and stormed off to my room.  Jason has never seen my room. Right now tears were slipping.  "'Wow babe cute room " he said chucking.  I smiled and he wiped the tears.  He was clearly trying to cheer me up.  I then saw him look at my small bed. " Well Babygirl this bed needs and upgrade cuz I clearly can't smash you in it". He said smirking.  I smacked him. Then my mom walked in she gave both me and Jason a hug. "
I want you both to know I support you both. You both seem happy. So I didn't eat. Well no one did only your father. So Jason come join the rest of us. " my mom said. We smiled at her and followed down.  Branden just stared at us. I sometimes wonder if he still loves me. But anyway back to Eatting.  After Eatting and chatting. We decided to exchange gifts. We pretty much all got what we wanted which was great . I soon made my famous hot chocolate . I added whip cream and marshmallows.  Jason loves when I make it. His eyes lit up. Everyone laughed at him except my dad.  At this point I didn't care. I love Jason . We then started watching a Christmas movie, till it got to late. I told Jason I would be out in a sec to wait for me outside we Kenny. He hugged my mom "
Thank you Mrs. Rojas ". "
Oh Jason call me mother ". She said. Jason chuckled and left. My dad eyed him as he left. I said bye to everyone except my dad.  He honestly hurt me tonight. He yelled at me I front of everyone.  I walked right by him and didn't say a word. I then hopped in the car. Kenny sped off home. Once we got home I apologized to Jason.  "
Babe you don't have to be sorry it wasn't you and trust me , one day he will like me ." He sir winking.  I giggled  I then showered and cuddled under the covers. I pecked Jason on the lips.  With that I fell asleep in the arms of the man I while always stand up for.
