Hinata's Cousin (Has got it goin on)

Chapter 2: Who's that boy!?- Shikamaru's POV

The late afternoon breeze washed over the ecstatic teenagers, already desperate for another vacation. 

Choji and I casually strolled down the cracked cemented sidewalk, shooting the breeze. 

"Your dad still on that business thingy?" he asked. 

"Yea, I'm not entirely sure when he will return."

"Haha, you should throw a party."

"Too much of a drag."

The conversation gradually died out as we both took a moment to observe these newcomers around us. 

A majority of the boys wore typical clothing, cargo shorts, and a tee.

 Some were extremely overdressed as well, their snapbacks reading "SWAG" and "YOLO."

 "So fuckin' stupid," I thought. "You only live once, no shit."

"Don't you think some of the Freshman girls are dressing like it's a fashion show?" Choji questioned.

I examined the few females in my vicinity. Two of them were wearing such complicated outfits, leggings under skirts, vests over designed shirts, their faces nothing more than power and lipstick.

"A few take it too far," I concluded. 

"HEY!" I could hear Kiba screech from an area by the fence, awaiting us with the rest of our squad. 

"Shikamaru guess what!" I heard Ino call.

"Naruto is in love!" Rock Lee squealed.

"WHAT? With who?" Choji was quick to interrogate.

"Hinata Hyuga!" 

"Who the fuck is that?"

"She's that painfully shy girl with blue hair and like grey eyes. Everyone makes a big deal about her eyes, you've probably seen her."

"AND THIS DUMBASS OVER HERE BROKE HER LEG!" Naruto raged, pointing at the Inuzuka.

"I didn't mean to! I said I was sorry!" the dog trainer retaliated. 

Only now did this location make me cringe.

There was a fence separating us from the "pickup lane", with all these honking cars and resentful parents. "What a drag," I thought.

"SHUT UP!" the Uzumaki hollered at one of the automobiles which was repeatedly honking. I watched the car. It wasn't anything special. A 2011 Honda Piolet, in black. 

"So anyways, how did you meet this Hinata?" 

Naruto's cheeks became flushed. 

"This better be cute!" Tenten giggled.

"Well," the blonde started. 

"I've actually known her since middle school."

The whole squad gasped in unison.

"This is so cute!" Sakura fangirled.

"Childhood friends! This is true love!" Lee cried.

Sccreeeeeeeech! 

It was obviously someone's tires, yet it was at such an intense volume all heads were turned.

I was surprised.

"Daaaamn! That's a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint! Those cost boku!" Kiba exclaimed .

It was absolutely beautiful, the jet black paint reflecting a rainbow of colors.
