The car, once again, jerked to a screeching halt as I tried not to crash into the rusty red car ahead of us. Sooner or later, someone was going to get into a serious accident if this freaking idiot did not fix their brake lights. Also, I didn't know whether the dude was either a really crappy driver or just a plain idiot, because he was jerking all over the place like there was no tomorrow. Plus, he was going really slow, like really, really slow.

"What the hell is wrong with this guy. Just over take him, Charlie." A bored voice commented from the back seat. Taking a moment, I glanced into the reflection mirror and caught a flash of pink as Leila slammed her head lightly into the back of my chair from the force of yet another fast stop. The blonde girl beside her, Spencer, had her faced squished up against the window as she slept, smacking her cheek on the window occasionally along with Leila.

Nodding lightly, I swung the wheel to the right, swiftly over-taking the car in front, but not before catching a quick glimpse at the man at the wheel, who looked as if he was about to pass out. Not to mention, he also had a creepy looking red stain dribbled down the front of his button down shirt. I grimaced internally, not knowing what it was and frankly I wasn't keen on finding out.

A faint cheer of approval sounded from with in the car as I drove quickly down the street. I smiled before tapping my fingers on the wheel and reaching over to turn the music up louder, enough to feel the strong beat pass through my feet and across my chest.

"Okay, I'm not sure about you guys, but I am so excited for this movie that I might actually pee my pants." I snorted, in quite a lady like fashion might I add, as Star's voice yelled through the car and above the music. She was also shaking her head along with the music, making her long wavy hair sway to its own out-of-time rhythm and letting the care-free attitude she obtained from her parents take over.

"Trust me, I am just as excited as you are." I answered, smiling as the movie theatres sign rolled into view. 'Ashland Movie Theatre' glowed brightly through the dim light of the setting sun. Well it really looked like 'As land ovie The tre' because some of the letters weren't technically glowing.

"I still don't see why we have to see a zombie movie, I mean there's a pretty good-looking romance movie that just came out." Leila voiced from the back seat as I entered the parking lot.

Looking directly at her through the mirror, I answered quickly. "Trust me Leila, there's a pretty fine looking man in this movie that you might enjoy watching." She looked deep in thought for a moment before a bright smile took over her delicate features, grinning at me back through the mirror.

"Okay, so maybe the movie won't be so bad." She giggled loudly as she stared dreamily out the window. That's Leila for you, you say boy and she comes running. Well technically she didn't run, she strutted. I would say her inner sassiness takes over when a member of the other sex was at least with in a ten metre radius. Don't get me wrong, she was definitely not a skank, she was just extremely confident and, well...sassy.

Turning off the ignition, I quickly got out of the car, but not before hearing a loud yelping sound from the back seat. Snapping my head back inside the car, I saw a very furious looking Spencer glaring at Leila, profusely rubbing her left leg.

"Why would you kick me, Leila? Geez, that hurt. Oh, and I was sleeping, if you hadn't noticed before." Spencer whispered aggressively with a hint of sarcasm at the laughing pink haired girl, who just shrugged nonchalantly and high-fived Star. Even though she looked as if she'd explode, Spencer eventually let the humour of the situation set in, laughing along with us for a moment. Spencer wasn't one to hold grudges, but when she did it would have to be about something serious.
