Gone girls (verdine version)
By Khanyisa BranconIt is everything that I seem to ignore
The classroom that I treated as a bore
Popularity was my only goal
My heart was still, you have seen what I sawComplicated lives
We were million miles apart
She was the girl who sat at the back of the class;
broken down by loneliness
And she thought no one ever cared
My heart was lost yet I did not know where I had to go
Everything was lost... it was all goneAnd still I tried to throw you into my own hurricane
It is like you boldly spot me from a thousand miles away
I looked down on your soul deep down
I knew that we truely the same
Two very different birds
each one sang their truest song,
Bold identies and graceful namesToday time still flies by
And we not so many miles apart
You turned circles into hearts
Dear graceful mercy
I am never going to ever be the same
For the better...a whole true me
From trapped the caged birds broke freeGone girl
Tell me what's wrong
And I shall sing you my song
But she could not sing me her song
She only told me her story,
A deep fares't story Untold.2016-06-02
