The Suburbian club
By Khanyisa BranconAll the days of my childhood
Forgotten people of the dark
The bittersweet moments
Where I faced the world aloneForced to rapidly grow up
Joined a clique
Where my dear mother's love
was never chocking me
Nobody could try to enrage us
And I was the Empress QueenI dearly sat on a throne
They argued about impressing me
It was easy to live in the blue
For I had Befriended the wicked kids
We all knew that victory was contagiousThe Suburbian Club
People I shared my fears to
All my favourite friends
Where everything constantly came
And nothing was ever true
But I lived in a hologram alone
And I never went home again2016-07-30
