(Andy's POV)
"Nothing. I was just finishi-"
"No", I interrupted. "I'm not done."
"Done with what?", Vic asked, suspicious.
"Can I finish talking to Mina alone?", I asked him. He looked over to Mina for her permission. She sighed and nodded. He told her he'd come back when she texted him.
"Mina, if you do this, I will have no idea how to live anymore."
"Then maybe we can just stay friends but i dont want to get close. Vic's my boyfriend and we're a couple. You and I are barely friends. We have history. It changes everything."
"It doesnt change how I feel."
"Maybe it will after you stay with Scout. You'll feel better I promise." Mina turned around and left, leaving me alone, speechless. Saying all of that made me realize I was still in love with Mina. Why wasnt she in love with me? She couldnt have been over me. Her feelings for me disappeared so fast.
"Andy. You okay, babe?"
"Yeah, I'm just thinking about life and what's goin on", I replied to Scout, pulling out cookies from the oven. The smell overwhelmed me.
They had reminded me of the time Mina came over for the first time. I shook my head and let out a breath of air. I shouldn't be thinking of her. This was Mariana's dinner. Pulling off the oven mitts, I couldnt get memory out of my head. Her expression when I had told her that I still loved her. What was I going to do?
