It's been a few days now and mom still isn't home. I told Hayley she doesn't have to go to school cause, how are we going to get there? Brennan keeps texting me asking if my mom is home and that I should stay at his place. I said no multiple times cause Katie is there. I'm not trying to start more drama.
Suddenly Hayley comes down, upset and worried.
"Annie, can you just call mom on your phone? She hasn't been here in days."
"Fine, hold on." I said grabbing my phone on the counter and unlocking it.
"Put it on speaker!" Hayley says as I'm dialing the number.
"Can you hold your cheese?" I said calling the number and putting it on speaker.
Ring
Ring
Ring
...
"What?" We heard a raspy voice from the other end.
"Where are you?" I asked
"I'm trying to get money for you hoes now leave me alone!" She said screaming in the microphone.
She hung up and I looked up at Hayley.
"Never ask me to do that again!"
"Don't have to tell me twice." She said walking upstairs

It's late so I was doing my usual night routine. When I got back to bed and checked my phone a unknown number kept on text me.
"Why aren't you at school?"
"Fucking hoe."
"Answer your phone."
"This is why Brennan will never love you."
I opened it up and quickly responded.
"Who are you? And how did you get this number?"
They unknown number responded right away.
"That's for me to know and for you too find out."
I texted Adrianna. The day we met we had exchanged phone numbers but I never really got the chance to text her.
"Hey Adrianna, this number keeps texting me and I don't really know who it is. Can you help me?"
She quickly read it and responded
"Yeah start a group chat."
