Ava's POV
I was sleeping when I heard my phone start vibrating like crazy. I groaned and grabbed it off my bed side table and answered it.
"Hello?" I asked putting my phone to my ear.
"Hi, is this Ava Rodriguez?" Someone asked.
"Yes, this is her. Who may I ask is calling?" I asked.
"My name's Kyle. I'm manager to Asking Alexandria." The guy said.
"Oh, hi, how can I help you?" I asked sitting up.
"Well, I saw an original song you put up on YouTube and I really dig it." He said.
"Oh, thanks." I said.
"You're welcome, now I'm not calling to offer you a record deal or anything, but I have a question." He said.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Did you write that original song?" He asked.
"Yeah, I did." I said.
"Alright, do you think you can come into the studio today?" He asked.
"Yeah, I can." I said.
"Alright, I'll text you the address of the studio and hopefully I'll see you soon." He said.
"See you soon." I said and he hung up. I got out of bed and went and brushed my hair and teeth and I curled my hair. I got dressed in a black dress that was mid thigh and had lace at the top, a pair of combat boots and a beanie. I did my make up and sprayed perfume on and grabbed my bag, phone and keys. I walked out of my room and downstairs. I saw my mom sitting on the couch going through bills.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"Out, I'll be back soon." I said and walked out to the car and I got in and drove off to the address.

Once I got to the studio, I parked and got out and walked inside. The lady at the desk looked up at me.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"Ava." I said.
"Do you have a meeting with someone?" She asked. Kyle walked out and over.
"Kayla, stop being like that, come with me." He said. I followed him into a room. "Sit, please." He said. I nodded and sat down on one of the chairs. "So, do you have any other original songs on you?" He asked.
"I do, actually." I said and pulled a composition notebook out and I handed it to him. "You can go ahead and flip through it." I said. He started looking through it.
"These are really good." He said.
"Thanks." I said. There was a knock on the door.
"Come on in." He said. The door opened and I saw Asking Alexandria walk through the door. "Shit, I forgot you guys were coming in." He said.
"It's fine." Denis said.
"Do you mind coming back in tomorrow?" Kyle asked me.
"That's fine." I said.
"I'll look at the time and I'll text you the time." He said.
"Alright." I said and grabbed my book from him and went to walk out.
"Don't be rude, Kyle. Introduce us to your new friend." Ben said.
"Sorry. Ava, this is Ben, Denis, Sam, Cameron and James. Guys, this is Ava." He said. I waved.
"I really do have to go." I said and walked out and bumped into someone causing me to drop my stuff and their stuff.
"Sorry, love." The guy said.
"It's fine." I said and looked up and saw Oliver Sykes from Bring Me The Horizon. I was trying not to freak out.
"Are you a fan?" He asked.
"Sorta, yeah." I said.
"What's your name, love?" He asked.
"Ava." I said.
"Well, Ava, it's nice to meet you." He said and kissed my cheek. He picked my stuff up and handed it to me.
"Thanks." I said.
"No problem. Are you leaving?" He asked.
"Yeah, actually. I have to go get some things and go eat." I said.
"Oh, okay. I was actually getting ready to leave myself." He said.
"I guess we can walk out together." I said. He smiled that cute smile he has.
"Yeah, we can." He said. We walked out of the studio. I walked to my car and he followed. "Is it cool if I have your number?" He asked.
"Yeah, that's fine." I said. We took our phones out and gave it to each other. I put my name and number in his and saved it and gave it to me. He gave me my phone back. "I'll text you later." I said.
"Wait, can we take a few pictures?" He asked.
"Sure." I said and he took his phone out and we took a picture where I was holding his phone and he had his arms around my waist and I was kissing his cheek. We took a few more pictures and he put his phone his pocket. "Now, I do need to go." I said.
"Alright, it was nice to meet you." He said.
"You, too." I said and got in my car and drove off.

I was at home sitting on my bed writing another song when my phone dinged. I grabbed it and saw Oliver sent the pictures that we took. I smiled and saved them to my phone and put the one of us making funny faces as his contact picture. He texted me again.
Oliver: Sorry I didn't text you earlier, I was kind of busy buying things for my flat.
Ava: It's okay, so what happened with you and Hannah?
Oliver: Not really up for talking about her, how did you know there was something up with us?
Ava: I just had a feeling...you don't have to talk about it.
Oliver: When I'm ready, I will.
Ava: That's fine.
Oliver: Hey, I gotta go, the guys are coming over and we're going to chill for a little while, I'll message you later.
Ava: Alright, good night :).
Oliver: Good night :).
I locked my phone and put it on the charger and went back to writing. There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said. My mom walked in and I closed my notebook.
"Hey, don't stay up so late." She said.
"I won't." I said.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you, too." I said. She walked out shutting the door. I put my notebook in my bag and I shut my lamp off and I laid down and fell asleep.
