Rain was still lashing the windows when I left my car. Time check. Seven-thirty. Not too bad. Now I wish I was in Hogwarts. I could easily use some bit of magic to effortlessly wake up at five in the morning and drive all the way to Vogue without getting wet by the stupid rain.

I don't care who you are but if you don't agree with me that cold weathers are annoying, then I am judging you. Not really though. I just hate it when I had to go somewhere else and the rain starts pouring down. Feels like the whole world is crashing down on me.

By the way, did I mention how massive and excellent Uncle Simon's house- mansion is? It was brilliant! The luxurious chandelier welcomed me first followed by the porcelain designs, and oh! The furnitures? They're divine. The kitchen was extremely large that I almost loved it there already knowing it won't ever run out of food. One thing about me, I hate it when the fridge gets empty.

My room, that's another thing. Uncle Simon gave me the room supposed for his "daughter". The room is designed for a model icon as he's working in a company close to that. I have a walk-in closet and a very pleasing bathroom that has everything I would need. The bed is so soft and big.

The rest of the house was bloody impossible. The pool, the garden, the terrace, the balcony, the backyard, everything. Too bad he doesn't have any to share his wealth with. Maybe that's one of the top reasons why he called for me. He treats me like a daughter and sometimes, far beyond that. I'm responsible to choose my decisions now anyway. So I just hope mom would understand.

I pound my fists on the elevator door as they finally parted.

"Diana!" Wearing her signature red lips, Emma greeted me in. I know she was supposed to exit already but she joined me up again.

"Heya!"

"Where have you been?" She's exhausted at this very time in the morning? Another fact about me, I don't give a shit about other people. I don't wanna be stressed or troubled. Mind your own damn business for everyone's sake but I am not going to move unless there's a cockroach beneath my desk.

Emma pursed her thin lips and handed me a bunch of folders. "You've got tons to do." Even in the most tiring scenario, she can manage to pull off her poise. What a beauty queen.

I gulped and almost banged my head when the load of paper folders took place on my arms. It's too early. It's my first day of work! Then again, I have no right to complain because I wanted this. Styles might have do this on purpose. What a total jerk. That curly boy is really eating me away. How could someone be so rude yet be so innocent at the same time?

The elevator doors finally parted, signaling me to exit. Emma grab hold of the strap of my bag before I could completely walk away. A large smirk was playing on her lips. "And be careful. Someone's off their rocker this morning." Ugh, I hate her lips.

I hurried off to my office, careful not to mess anything up while running with too many things on my hands. I swear, if these all aren't for my own duty, I will straighten that dickhead's hair.

"You're three minutes and twenty two seconds late."

I froze on my spot when the husky, cold, and harsh voice filled my ears the moment I burst into the clear glass walled room.

"I reckon that's hardly any of your business."

Harry huffed as he slammed his palms on my desk, causing the files to vibrate. "First off, I made it clear that you should be here seven thirty, sharp. Next, this is your fucking job not any of Emma's. Third, don't feel any special because you're the CEO's ni-"
