Nick woke up to the repetition of his phone's alarm clock. He pressed a button that awoke the phone screen and burnt into Nick's eyes which made him wince. Once his vision returned he could read the bright screen. 5:34. He could hear his mother from the other room getting out of bed. He growled at the thought of today.

"Plane day!" Nicks mum said bursting out of her room and into his. "Wakie wakie pumpkin!"

"I'm awake, stop talking!" Nick groaned.

"Okay honey, just get up and have a shower, I love you." His mother said walking back into her room.

"Love you too" Nick said has he sat up and ran his hand through his hair. "You can do this, it's only two months" he thought to himself while taking a deep breath.

He got undressed and entered the shower. The water was hot. Steam arose. Nick skinned burned. But he didn't turn it down.

The taxi car door slammed shut.

"Where to?" The taxi driver asked, toothpick in his mouth.

"Oh, the airport please" Nick mother replied shutting her door. The taxi started. "It's a long drive so get some sleep, Nickolas."

"I'll try." Nick sighed and put in his earphones.

He awoke to his mum shaking his leg, She was saying something but he could hear her over the loud lyrics of his music. He pulled the cord which plunged out both tiny speakers from his ears.

"We're here." His mother said smiling.

He quickly looked out the window. Multiple cars all stuck in traffic slowly moved toward the large building. The airport was all white compared to the dark clouds of the early morning. Nick pressed a button on his phone. It lit up. 7:02. After waiting in traffic, the taxi had found a parking space. Both Nick and his mum exited the car, his mother walked over to the taxi driver to pay him, Nick opened the trunk to take out his luggage, he only had a medium size case with the word "Las Vegas" written randomly around it. None of the two had been.

"Thank you" Nicks mum said as the taxi driver drove off. "Okay let's go, you ready?"

"I think." Nick replied playing with the end of his shirt.

"I hate this part" Nick mumbled under his breath.

"Oh cheer up, soon we will be on the plane, flying to Greece. Oh its so beautiful there Nickolas, you wont believe it andddd it's your birthday while we're their!"Nicks mum said excitedly

"I know, Stop reminding me.Lets just get this over with." Nick said quietly, dragging his mum forward.

They waited in a line until it was there turn to place their suitcases up, Nicks mom handed their passports to the check in lady while Nick tried to place their suitcases onto the conveyor belt. His mothers suitcase was much heavier then his own. It took everything his weak arms had to lift it, he failed, the heavy bag fell with a bang. He closed his eyes, wishing that didn't happen.

"I got it" a boy said. His voice was raspy yet smooth, like rough velvet.

Nick opened his eye, they made instead eye contact. Everything around Nick was drowned out except for this boy, his chocolate brown hair was raised in a small wave, his skin tone tanned with a tiny mole on the side of his face. He was wearing light purple jumper that was a little too big for him, yet it still wrapped around his muscular arms perfectly, his blue jeans ripped, unsure whether on purpose or by accident. The boy was just as focus on Nick as Nick was on him. Then in what felt like forever, they both snapped out of it, Nick looking away while the boy help place Nicks mothers luggage onto the belt.

"Umm thank you" Nick said shyly, no longer making eye contact.

"Oh yeh no problem, I'm Ethan" He said scratching back of his head.

"You're stunning... I MEAN NICK, I'm Nick" Nick said, feeling all of the blood rush to his head.

Ethan laughed.

"Ethan, come on!" Came a voice from the distance. "I gotta go, see ya." He said smiling, dimples forming at the end of both sides, Nick could of sworn he was blushing too.

"Yeah uh yeah s-sure" Nick stuttered.

Ethan giggled again and like that he was gone. Nick felt weak, like he had just met a god. He turned around  to his mom, still blushing

"whose your new friend?" Nicks mother said, raising her eyebrows cheekily.

"Oh just come on!" Nick said playfully as they moved out of the line.

"Ethan." Nick thought. Then smiled.
