Nick took deep breaths "you can do this, he's only a person. He doesn't even like you so just move passed and say nothing."
He carried on walking, trying to convince himself that he was brave enough when he really wasn't.
He stood by his lane.
"Umm..." He said instead of Hi.
Ethan looked up quickly
"Oh um hey..."
Awkward silence.
"Oh sorry is this your seat?" Ethan Said ready to get up.
"No, that's my seat" Pointing at the window seat, sounding meaner then he wanted.
Another awkward silence.
"Oh sorry" Ethan shook his head, finally getting up and standing next to Nick to let him in. Ethan was slightly taller then Nick, not so much that Nick had to stand on his tip-toes to reach his height but still taller.
Nick crawled into his seat, bag in hand. He looked over the top of his seat to see his mother, she seemed to of just settled when the over weight man who had been falling down the steps outside had seat with a thump next to her, taking up his seat and most of hers. She turned her head slowly to Nick, she looked angry yet confused. Nick laughed and turned back around. Ethan had sat back down.
The first 20 min was torture for Nick, both of them could sense that they wanted to take to each other but both of them was too nervous to do so. Nick took out his phone and earphones, he was about to plug them in when the plane started to move. Panic. Nick reached out to grab his arm rest but instead of grabbing the cold steal bar, he grabbed Ethan's hand. Nick instantly moved his hand away. He looked up at Ethan who still had his arm on the bar.
"First time flying? Ethan said through laughter
"Second actually, I was 1 the first time" Nick said, secretly freaking out.
"It's gonna get worst"
"Don't remind me" Nick said sarcastically. Hearing Ethan's voice eased the terror that he was feeling.
Huge bump in the road.
Nick tense, grabbing Ethan's hand again and moving it away again.
"It's ok" Ethan said smiling, moving his hand away "It's all yours"
"Oh no, it's your arm rest. You should-" Another bumb. Nick grabbed the arm rest. "Thank you" Smiling awkwardly.
"No problem"
"So exactly how many times do I have to fly to be as comfortable as you on a plane? Nick asked. "I'm still not super comfortable on planes, ive flown about 5 times in my life and its slowly getting easier. My brother Grayson on the other hand." Ethan pointed to his twin over on another seat.

"Your twin?" Nick asked, still holding the arm rest.

"How did you guess?" Ethan smiled.
