Rose's POV:

When I was seven, my mom left my dad. I have a brother named Brian who is a year older. Well, he stayed with my dad when we left. I haven't seen him but we talk almost everyday. Most of what I hear about is the girls he does. Well, my mom got arrested about an hour ago. When I got home from school, the cops were out front. Someone caught her after she, well, I guess she killed someone but I don't know all the details with that and no one is allowed to tell me. The cops took me in to the station to see what they were going to do with me. They called my dad. Great, I haven't seen this man in nine years and now I have to go live with him. You know what the best part is? The whole reason why is because mom got locked up. That's a story to tell. Well, I had the night to get everything together, my flight to Independence Township, Michigan leaves early in the morning. The whole night, I got my stuff together. There was a fat cop in the house with me. He had to make sure I didn't run away. The next morning, he drove me to the airport. After I got on the plane, I started getting sleepy so I fell asleep. By the time I woke up, we were just landing. When I got off the plane, Brian was standing there.

"Rose, is that you?" Brian asked.

"Yeah, hi." He picked me up in a huge hug.

"It's been forever." He said.

"It's only been nine years." He let me go.

"That's a long time. So hey, dad is on a business trip until next Friday. He said to be nice to you and for you to make yourself at home, as if you were with us the whole time and didn't just have to see mom get put in prison." We went to the baggage claim. Brian walked up to this guy and started talking to him. The guy had black spiky hair, his skin was tan, and he had the most amazing brown eyes. Brian pulled me over. "This is Scott, Scott, this is Rose, my sister." I looked at him and I felt lost in his eyes. Finally, Brian said something and I looked at him.

"What?" I asked.

"How many bags do you have?" He repeated.

"Five."

"Okay, I'll get them, go get something to eat, you look like you haven't eaten in forever. Go get me a water." He handed me money. "Scott, will you go with her, she doesn't know where she is going."

"Sure, come on babe." I glared and followed.

Scott's POV:

She followed me to the food center in the airport. When we got to the food center she walked over and got in line. I studied her while she waited, she had long blond hair with a mix of brown, her eyes were light blue like the sea. I would so do her if she wasn't my best friends sister I mean come on she has a fine body. I heard her order a salad and 3 bottles of water, good I like my women skinny, she walked over to me and handed me a water.

"Thanks babe." I said and smiled at her. Rose glared at me and ate her salad, I watched her eat. I saw Brain walking over with his car keys in his hands when he made it over to us he sat down by Rose.

"I put your bags in the car, so when your done eating we can start heading home." Brian said. Rose nodded and continued to eat her salad she looked up and saw me watching her.

"Take a picture it will last longer." Rose said.

"Okay, hold on a second." I took out my phone and took a picture while she was glaring at me.

"Delete that!" She yelled.

"Not going to happen babe." I saved the photo and put my phone in my pocket.

Brian's POV:

I shook my head. Scott was flirting with my sister. Oh well, she is a big girl, she seems like she can take care of herself. She finished eating and we left. I drove home. I grabbed a couple of her bags. She grabbed the rest. Scott closed the trunk.
