Scott's POV:
Mom woke me up for school. I got my lazy butt out of bed and got ready. First taking a shower. When I got out of the shower, I got dressed and spiked my hair. I know what the ladies like. I know what they want. They want me. By the time I was done admiring myself in the mirror, it was seven and time to leave for school. I got in my car and drove. When I pulled into the student parking lot of Clarkston High School, I saw my best friends Brian standing next to his sister Rose. She looks smokin today. When I got closer to them, Brian pushed his way out of the group of people surrounding him and his sister. Rose was still stuck. Everyone was asking her questions about where she came from. I heard a couple guys ask her out and a couple asked if they could have her number. For some reason, that made me pretty mad.
"Hey, what's up?" Brain asked.
"Nothing much, just standing here watching your sister get surrounded by a whole bunch of dousche's. What about you?" I replied. He looked back to where Rose was.
"I didn't think you would care. She's new here and guys seem to think she's hot. What's wrong with that?"
"A lot. She's your baby sister, if I was her brother, I would not let a bunch of shallow guys try to get in her pants. If that happened to Lori, they would be dead. Then again, she's in kindergarten. But it still fits."
"Geez dude, what's up with you?"
"Nothing, I'm just pointing out things when I see them." He walked up to the group and they made a walkway for him. He whispered something to Rose and she followed him out of the giant group. Some guys were complaining but I was satisfied.
"Hi." Rose said when Brain brought her up to me.
"Hey babe." She rolled her eyes. This was going to be more difficult than I thought.
Rose's POV:
I was standing in the middle of a group of people. They were all over. Brain seemed to think this was normal. I got asked out and some people asked for my numbers. I just ignored them all. When Scott, Brian's friend, got here, Brian walked out of the giant group of people, leaving me to die. Him and Scott talked for a minute then I saw Brain turn towards the group and me rolling his eyes. He walked up to me and whispered, "Come on, I'm freeing you from these people. Mostly because Scott has a major issue with you being there with all those, and I quote, douche's and shallow guys." We walked out of the people and towards Scott. He looked pleased.
"Hi." I said when we got up to him.
"Hey babe." I rolled my eyes. I can't believe guys like that. They know they are hot and they use that to their advantage. Some think they are hot when they aren't and they try too hard. Why do guys have to be such idiots? Brian showed me the way to the office where I got my schedule and everything I would need for school. The bell rang and I headed for my first period after I put my stuff in my locker. I had Creative Writing first. When I walked in, the teacher told me where to sit. After a few minutes, everyone was in the classroom. I opened a notebook and started doodling. Someone sat in the spot next to me. When I looked up, Scott was smiling. Great.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi." I went back to my doodling.
"What classes did you get?" I slid my schedule over to him with my pencil. He picked it up and studied it. "We have first and sixth together."
"I don't take you for the type of guy to be in Chlid Development."
"Oh, that is the class where you take care of those baby dolls and stuff like that. Girls love that class and if I'm in it, then I get girls attention. Total chick magnet." I rolled my eyes. I seem to do that with him a lot. The teacher cleared her throat. I looked up.
"Okay, everyone start writing with the prompt given on the boared." Ms. Foster said. I started writing but I got distracted a lot. For some reason, I kept looking at stupid Scott. The bell finally rang and I stood up. I looked at my schedule.
"Do you know where the class is?" Ms. Foster asked. She was standing behind me.
"No."
"Scott, you have Calculas next, her class is next door, will you show her the way?" He smiled at the teacher and nodded.
"Come on babe, follow me." I follwed him out the classroom and into the swarm of people.
