A walk to remember

"Alright so what happened?!" Hana said driving me to school. She said the bus gets expensive after awhile and offered to be my ride to school.

"Well, after I danced they told me I was good. Really good and asked my opinion on they're dancing." I say avoiding eye contact.

"What did you say?" Hana asked like she was warning me. I shuffled in my seat and let out a shaky breathe.

"Oh you know, I told them they are good but nothing I haven't seen before. I said, they just looked like every other dancing boyband and if they want to be remembered, they have to do things nobody is expecting." I say playing with my fingers.

"Gwen! That's good advice but you could have said it nicer." Hana said. I let out a puff and looked out the window.

"Why are you like that? You're pretty nice to me. What happened with Hansol there yesterday?" Hana asked.

"One question at a time." I say chuckling. Hana sighed.

"What happened with Hansol? Did you guys argue?" Hana asked. Yesterday with Hansol was definitely weird. He was all flirty than his usual bully self towards me. Not like, the playground flirting. It was winking, licking his lip, and smirking at me. I honestly didn't know what to do.

"I didn't talk to him. Simple as that." I lie not wanting to tell Hana all this just yet. Hana shrugged as we pulled into the school parking lot. We found a spot after three minutes and Hana almost cursed someone out for trying to take it. We exited the car and I sighed looking up at the school.

"Hey, today might be better." Hana said linking arms with me. I smiled and walked inside.

"Hey Gwen." I hear someone say. I look to see some random person I don't even know. What the?

"What's up Gwen?"

"Love the hair."

"Looking good girls."

"What's happening?" I ask Hana obviously a little freaked out.

"You hung out with Seventeen last night. Did you seriously think that would go unnoticed?" Hana asked.

"I hoped so." I say while we walk to my locker. I get my books for a first class.

"Parting is such great sorrow." I say to Hana because we had different classes.

"I don't understand that reference." Hana said completely confused. I just laughed and walked to my first class.

A lot of kids looked at me and smiled, unlike yesterday, and waved. I awkwardly waved back and made my way to my classroom.

I walked in to see the teacher just stared at me so did the rest of the class. Not the whole class was there, but it was mostly full.

"Who might you be?" The teacher asked in Korean. He had dark black hair and pale skin. He had circle lens classes and was tall and skinny.

"Gwen." I say back. He looked at me and nodded like he was remembering who I was. I pressed my lips in a fine line and went to the back row. It was mostly empty surprising so I say in the back by the window. The furthest away from the teachers desk.

Just as the bell rang, a group of people walked in. Judging by their looks and clothing, they must be considered the "popular" kids. I didn't recognize anyone in the group as they made they're way to the back row. They all filled a seat except one. I looked up to get a better look at the loser without a seat and saw Hansol.
