Chapter 3

Royce has decided that after the conference, he would cancel what he had for the rest of the day and spend it with you.

On your way home, Royce had asked what you would wanna do.

"Wanna go bungee jumping?" You said in a joking matter.

"Haha, you're funny."

"Haha, well. We haven't gone to dinner in a while, what do you say to that?" You asked.

"Seems fine by me, I might know the perfect place actually."

Both of you finally made it home, before you could go inside the house though, Geoffrey went behind you to cover your eyes.

"You know, you've given me too many surprises. Even though I like being spoiled, you don't have to do this." You said smiling.

Opening the door, Geoffrey led you inside to hear a, "Surprise!" From who you might ask? From the one and only, Rojas Family.

"Oh my gosh!" You said in surprise.

Angela, Royce's mom and Shanelli, Royce's sister, were the first to greet you.

"Wow, you look so beautiful!" The two ladies said to you.

You hugged them both.

"My brothers couldn't make it but they send you a gift, it's up stairs."

"I have a gift for you, too. Come, follow me."

Royce's mom takes you by the hand and leads you into the guest room. When the door opens to the room, piles and piles of flowers are gathered around the room. And right on the bed, was a box. Royce's mom brought you in and got the box. She then opened it and showed it to you. It was a blue diamond necklace.

"That's so beautiful, Ms. Rojas. Is that yours?" You asked.

"It used to be, my mother in law gave it to me when I got married to Geoffrey's dad, it has ran in his family for many many years. I want to give it to you..."
