Alania's P.O.V:

~2 weeks later~

You and Max have been going out for two weeks. He has been staying at your apartment along with Mason. The reason why is because you felt it was disrespectful to stay at Adam's house without Adam. You guys went to Adam's house because he was getting out today! When you got there you went in and talked to Max for a little while until you heard a car pull up into his driveway. Tim Tim and Adam walked in, looking tired. Adam said, "Man. I never knew two weeks could feel so long." You giggled a little and handed him Mason. "Oh hey Mason! Did you miss me a wittle bit?" He said in his voice he always talked to babies in. Tim said he was going home and left. Max, you, and Adam all talked for a bit when Adam started to seem a little mad. Mason was yawning so you said, "I think I'm gonna put Mason to bed." "No I'll get him." Adam said, with a hint of anger in his voice. "No, you've had a long two weeks. I'll put him to bed." "No. Let ME." He said, sounding angrier. "But I've gotten attached to him! I'll just put him to sleep. It'll take like two seconds." "NO, ALANIA! YOU ALWAYS THINK YOU'RE THE MOTHER TO MASON BUT YOU'RE NOT! I'M THE PARENT! NOT YOU! ALESA'S HIS MOM! YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO ACT LIKE YOU'RE PART OF MY FAMILY! FACE THE FACT THAT YOU'RE NOT! YOU'RE JUST THE LONELY OUTCAST THAT THE TEACHER FORCED ME TO TALK TO! LEAVE ME ALONE! I JUST WANT TO PUT MASON TO SLEEP!" He yelled at you, staring you in the eye. Tears started forming in your eyes. You ran out crying, and you ran all the way back to your apartment. When you got there you closed the door, sat in the corner, and cried. Shortly after you heard someone knock. "Alania, Can I come in?" It was Max. "S-sure." You said, still crying. He walked in. He helped you up and both of you sat down on your bed. "Alania..." "Max, why would he say that? He's never said anything like that before. It's like he couldn't hold it in anymore." You said, looking at him. "I think all the anger of Alesa's death bubbled up inside of him until it exploded, but you know that Adam would never hurt your feelings on purpose." You nodded and lied down. He lied down next to you and you fell asleep.
